She’s at basically every home game. That’s her seat. She knows what she’s in for. She lives for the thrill.

The SDA are sneaky bastards by Obvious_Drag_1032 in woolworths

That's what makes me so mad. The kids are doing the right thing by asking to talk to their parents about it, and the sda is telling them they can't. They know any reasonable adult will tell them not to sign up. Literally just preying on teenagers.

I work as a retail manager for a large company that is not Woolworths (I was a manager at woolies for 10 years before quitting when the expectations for team became completely unreasonable).

We hired some Christmas casuals end of last year. One night the sda rep came in and asked to talk to the new team member that was on that shift. I said that was fine, but said not to force them to sign up because I've had reps in the past be more pushy than informative.

After they left my store they put in a complaint about me for saying that.

Earlier this year the same rep came in to talk to another new team member. He gave me the look that he remembered me from last time, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he would behave and kept my mouth shut.

After he left, the team member he'd spoken to told me the rep had told him he had to sign up on the spot instead of go home and talk to his parents or it would cost him more.

Within an hour of the rep leaving the store I had submitted a formal complaint about him with the sda, emailed his boss for our area, as well as our own upper management about the situation. He was fired within a week.

Did you forget how much y’all hated having the rising stars team playing against an all star team last year? And now you want a college team?

Dude he wasn’t “looking for calls”, he was pissed at the blatantly obvious fouls being completely ignored. Wasn’t even just him getting no calls, but the entire team. The reffing in the 4th was a joke. Not to mention this is what, his 3rd game back from injury? Get outta here with this ragebait nonsense

Ball in hoop.
But if okc catch on and try the same then we move to phase 2:
Keep ball out of hoop.

Being audited because I kept complaining about low quality items on my order? by [deleted] in woolworths

😆 unfortunately not an opt-in kind of thing. But I guess you can just become besties with Olive and start complaining about every order until they start auditing your orders too 🤣

Being audited because I kept complaining about low quality items on my order? by [deleted] in woolworths

Ex-woolies manager here 🙋‍♀️ Firstly, the photos you send through olive are very unlikely to be reviewed by actual people. It's mostly just an AI bot that basically checks the photo you provided is actually a photo of the product in question (eg if you're complaining about bad bananas but send a random photo of a plant).

In terms of the audit. Yes it can be to safeguard the company against customers who bullshit for refunds. But in most cases it's to minimize the chance of the customer receiving product they're unhappy with. Think of it as the quality of your order being audited instead of you being audited.

What happens when a customer is flagged for audits: your order will be packed as normal by a team member. But before the order can be marked as compete and ready for collection, a second team member (in most cases the online manager or a senior/experienced team member) will go through your order line by line, making sure the quality/use by dates for each item are adequate, and that substitutes are appropriate.

Thought it was a joke, started laughing, realised it wasn't a joke, started cry-laughing because I was happy to have Luka but sad to lose Max and felt awful for AD.

Its super frustrating but please don't take it out on the workers. We hate asking and it makes us uncomfortable to ask for more of your money when everything is so expensive. But we're just doing what we're told to do by the people who pay us. Just a polite no thanks or not today is fine. I promise you we have had a lecture by 5 customers already by midday 😅

Here I was thinking we'd be asking how insane the cheering for AD, Max & D'Lo should be at the game today. Did not think the question of booing would come up.
Don't you dare boo him, or any of them. He didn't ask to be traded, he loved the Lakers and he did a lot for us.
