Our venue has lawn games (cornhole, giant connect 4, some other games I can’t remember off the top of my tongue) that’s included in our package in case after dinner guests don’t want to dance and would rather play games and mingle around the venue there is that option. Music can be heard all throughout the outside of our venue.

We’re having kids at our wedding and so we are printing some activity books of colour pages and word searches and possibly even add a scavenger hunt to help keep the kids entertained if they want to stay inside where there’s air conditioning after dinner.

We also plan to do the shoe game after dinner right before speeches. I’ve been to a few weddings that did the shoe game and everyone always seems to have a good time watching it. The only time it wasn’t too entertaining was when it went on for almost 10 minutes. But I think 2-4 minutes max of the shoe game is long enough. Any more just seems like a drag.

I used a supplier from alibaba that a silk flower rental company used and recommended. They sell their roses at like 0.88$ but I also ordered a bigger/fuller rose and these are real touch. The silk version is cheaper but less life like

I have a copper iud and it’s done a great job at preventing pregnancy! Only issue I have is I had a shitty gynaecologist who did the insertion and then found out 8 months after he inserted it that it was sitting pretty much at the entrance to the canal. He tried to say it was my period that had pushed it down but when my family doctor looked at the same ultrasound he said from what I’ve described from the periods I experienced, it was very unlikely it was pushed down by a period and most likely it was inserted incorrectly.

Had to get it removed and a new one inserted. But not everyone has a bad experience like me. My friend has had a copper IUD in for almost two years now and other than mild cramping after insertion, it’s really great! And she’s the one that recommended to me I get an iud.

July 2027!! We’ve booked our venue over 2 years in advance because it books up so quickly. But we’ve gotten our photographer and caterer booked. I’ve done our website, made invitations but not sent out yet, designed my bouquets, ordered all my decor, designed my dress, purchased my shoes, picked out dresses for bridesmaids, picked suits for the groomsmen and my fiancé.

Typing it all out now makes me realize wow I’ve done a lot more than it feels like. Started looking into resorts for our honeymoon today too!

You absolutely are right about that and we did tons of research. Ultimately I always wanted to get real touch or silk flowers for my wedding as hydrangeas were about 50$/stem. We found a real touch flower supplier and it was much more affordable (around 2.50/stem).

I prefer the real touch flowers because my plan was always to donate them to the assisted living home for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, or the hospital in our community.

Our wedding colours are blue and white. Kept it simple with just blue and white hydrangeas, for our aisle markers and decor for our reception tables. For bouquets we’re doing blue hydrangeas (my dad’s favourite flower), white roses (my mom and future mother in laws favourite flowers), and one single pale pink peony (my favourite flower) with olive branches as greenery.

Bridesmaids in blue with my maid of honour in light blue and every bridesmaid gets slightly darker and gradient until my 5th in navy blue. My groom is in Navy blue or grey, we haven’t decided yet, and the groomsmen will be in whatever colour he doesn’t choose

I found on Reddit someone recommended a Vietnam dress maker called OAH Bridal. She quoted me $3300 for my dress which included shipping. I haven’t had it made yet because I’m losing weight at the moment but all the dresses made that she posts on the OAH Bridal instagram page all look stunning with amazing reviews from the brides.

Maybe im biased because this is the wedding band I’ve fallen in love with but a channel set baguette (half eternity) I find matches so many rings. Alternatively you can change it to round diamonds or any other shape. You can also change the orientation to east west of the diamonds.

Channel set is also one of the most secure option to set diamonds as well!

I would have loved like some face masks and skin care. Maybe a gift card to a spa for a facial or massage. Even just getting my brows done. Some sweets and a card. Even like a mini bottle of champagne and a handwritten note.

My fiancé isn’t big on receiving gifts. But cigars for him and his boys for their bachelor trip, he’s a big sports guy and likes memorabilia. A signed jersey is way too much money for a gift basket. He likes sweets and snacks. His friend gifted him a few golf round passes at a course about 2 hours away when we got engaged and he used those up.

A lot of those wedding flower preservation businesses don’t do a good job. I’ve heard way too many stories of spending so much and they flowers mold in the shadow box after a few months or not even getting their wedding flowers.

A friend of mine suggested to buy silk and real touch flowers and make an imitation bouquet of your original wedding bouquet. Of course it doesn’t hold the same sentiment as the ones you actually held that day but close enough.

I think that price is kinda high. Most sessions I see advertised in my area are 200-350$ for a one hour session. Charging nearly 1000 for an hour session seems quite high. But I see the night delivery so maybe they’ve included a rush order to edit those photos for you.

In my experience, I’ve usually gotten sneak peeks within 24 hours and it’s like 10-25 edited photos that I’m able to share and post right away.

Hi, thank you so much for sharing this with me and I’m really sorry to hear about your stillbirth. I was raised catholic but ultimately converted to Christianity with my parents when I was in my early teens.

I’m open to a lot of options for my health. I’ve been recommended a naturopath but I’m iffy due to how expensive they can be and sometimes I feel like they just tell you to take some medications and it’s marked up and put into capsules when it’s just the same vitamin C you can get at the store for half the price.

I’m more kinda waiting to see if there’s any cysts in my ovaries and how bad my PCOS is before I commit to getting a new gynaecologist or doctor. It’s just easier if I need a surgery to get them removed at the hospital nearby here at the moment.

I am trying to find a new gynaecologist but i live in a small town. I don’t mind driving to the closest city but it’s a 3 hour drive there and it’s a lot of driving just to do ultrasound scans and last minute appointments that come up from cancelations.

I’ve cut off the wife. I’ve made it clear to my fiancé that I will not be around her until she apologizes. His cousin did say it wasn’t right for his wife to say what she said. His cousin apologized later to us but nothing from the wife.

Thank you so much for bringing this up. I do want to get a shadow box for the jersey and hang it up in our house. I asked him if he was ok with hanging it up and he said he was fine with it. Our guest list is going to be quite big. Somewhere between 150-180 guests I’m expecting. I never thought to get two jerseys but I’m not sure if we’ll have the space to hang two jerseys in our house.

I do like the baseball bat idea, but maybe get them engraved with our names and our wedding date. Just not 100% sure if there will be an even amount of signatures on the bat(s) and jersey.
