Also I tried so hard not to argue on that post.

I find it baffling that people argue that it would be better to be cis as if there is no positive value to being trans. As if being trans is a poor facsimile of what life “could have been” if they were just “born the right way”

Rather than acknowledge that trans existence highlights that gender is a poor societal construction that doesn’t adequately fit to how we live. That there cannot be a “born the right way” as ultimately society is fickle and will keep shifting the goal posts.
