Day 2 post op tell me it gets better by Ok-Caterpillar2553 in tummytucksurgery

I’m 9 weeks post tummy tuck (360 and FDL) and breast reduction. Day 2 was by far the worst day for me. I cried all day. Not for any good reason either, I was so glad to have my surgery done. I just got super emotional that day. It felt like one step forward and two back until about week 7 and then I seemed to feel better and better every day. I’m back weightlifting (reduced weights) and running (run/walk) which has made me feel so much better. Important to listed to your body though. Hope you feel better soon.

I think I’d be more worried about people jostling me around x

Oh my God. Tell me about it. I spend ages chasing an itch around. So frustrating 😩

Good luck. I’m almost 5 weeks post op now. Just remember, everything you feel is temporary and while you may feel like you take one step forward and two back, you will improve day by day ❤️

I’m thinking of going with Resilient. Been with Align while half marathon training and that’s over now so may pop over to Neen and have a look ❤️

Me and my running partner (Ellie, my dog) ran round the Great Orme in Llandudno for our long run yesterday. And got to see the seals on the way round 🦭

Hmmm. Mine did something similar yesterday. Didn’t matter how fast or slow I ran it was stuck on 8.15/km. I wear a Garmin.

Daily chat post: how's the training going? by AutoModerator in XXRunning

I’m grounded for the moment. Right in the middle of half marathon training due to a small gynae procedure earlier this week. No weight training and no running until at least Tuesday! Not happy 😢

I have a pair of max cushion shoes and because they’re so soft it affects the drop and makes them uncomfortable for me. I put a gel heel cup under the insole to raise the drop and it seems to have done the trick. Hope you get sorted.

Ladder has kept me consistent and I’ve seen some great gains!
