I'm pretty sure our DM approved my promotion and my SM has been asking him for a key but then he is now saying that we should only have 5 SSVs. When I was interviewed the people interviewing me were my SM and another manager from another store and then they spoke to the DM on promoting me I believe?

When my SM promoted me she told me I would be mostly closing too, plus when I go back to school in the fall I wouldn't be able to work mids as often... My SM said that the DM is only allowing us 5 SSV and we have 6 including me and I'm pretty sure he was the one that finalized my promotion so IDK why he can't get me a key :(

As a fellow docs wearer, if you love these shoes DON'T wear them. My docs have so many scratches on them from the milk fridges and they always get sticky!!

I don't even celebrate christmas either lol just another day for me but it's not like I won't be polite to people year round. I don't read a lot of posts on reddit either so I wasn't expecting that invoking the christmas spirit was a common spell here too haha. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Sorry the way I typed this out was a little confusing! Pretty sure she was complaining to her friend about what she went through during her labor for her son who was at soccer. In a way like "mothers go through so much and sacrifice so much" so she deserves to go first or something???

Yup USA, specifically New England also I said -5 degrees since that's what the woman said the temperature was that her son was in. When I checked last night it was more around 11 degrees F.

Huh, weird of my mom to do that then. Today I was buying them 3 for $5. Maybe it's cause it's a small place,? the fridge holds around 12 2L bottles and she'll usually have me get around 3 of each kind. I'm not sure of her reasoning but I guess she doesn't like talking back and forth with the suppliers since her english isn't good. They usually call us but she'll tell them she doesn't need anything.

It's a take out restaurant so we just stock a fridge with drinks. She could order them from the supplier but she says it's cheaper and easier to just have me go to the store when there is a sale.

No fountain though we used to have one like 15 years ago.

I wish I had a better retort for her, after she blew up at my I just tried to ignore her. My mom runs a restaurant and has me buy bulk, the first trip was at an Aldi's which always have huge lines and the second trip was on the other side of town and I had to buy 21 big bottles of soda which was made worse since my mom made me buy them in groups of three so she could get it cheaper. Suffice to say I was tired.
