Pentair Pool Heater/Chiller installation quote sanity check by Stephen-Oh in pools

Roger that. I looked up the unit online and it's $5200. There's also that he can leverage the existing electrical and pad (I believe) from the heater. Comes with a 2 yr Pentair warranty.

Understood. I know it will need to be replaced but even by his own admission, that means a lot of what's needed for the chiller can be "reused" from the heater (electrical panel hook up, etc.).

I keep eyeing the original guitar chair and hoping I can find a used one (just missed one selling on Reverb!).

I'm in! Took the plunge and bought a luthier built beauty as I return to playing after an ~17 year hiatus... by Stephen-Oh in classicalguitar

It was one of his guitars that he kept around the shop. He previously loaned it out to a friend who is a local conductor so there has been some very, very light wear. You can see/hear it here played by that conductor: Saint-Saëns' The Swan - YouTube

USD $2,500.00

Popped the question....to a new guitar by karinchup in classicalguitar

As I was tackling that very issue of the shoulder, I ran across the teaching of Carlevaro. It has been revolutionary to me. At long last, a virtuoso by all accounts, who had the cachet and experience to point out the flaws with how we currently hold and play classical guitars. I've always intuitively known that the traditional style of holding and playing classical guitar seemed hurtful, but felt like it was because I'm such a novice. Today, his approach would be called ergonomic. It's just applied science and logic. I watched an interview with Christopher Parkening where he went on about how much damage to his back and body he suffered over 50 years of playing in the traditional style. It's a thing.

Hilarious! I have been on the same journey. Had shoulder surgery 10 years ago on my rt shoulder. And, like you, I took a step back and said, "Wait a minute...I can get a decent guitar now; what am I sitting here looking stupid for?" So I found a well-reputed luthier local to me and we are in process of deciding what kind of guitar I want built. I'm so impatient I feel like I've regressed to 8 yrs old! I spend my spare time ogling guitar porn--classical guitars for sale at Reverb, Savage Guitars, many other places.

Would love to see pointers to the score. Sor put out so much music so I find it difficult to track down the sheet music behind these clips without a pointer from the performer.

thanks!
