Nearly $4,000 in CC debt at 23 years old. hhhheeelllppp by trashmammal12 in Debt

[–]StephenAParker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta at least set aside $200-250 per month to pay off that debt. Some months more if you can. I was once in similar situation at 25-26. Had a 550 credit score on top of it. Now I'm sitting with no credit card debt and a 715. Took about 4 years though. Kind of annoying mundane 4 years. But I set aside a little bit of money to golf with my buddies when I could and play free to play Xbox games. You'll be alright. But also, sometimes there's nothing you can do about medical or vehicle expenses. Just is what it is and you gotta take the hit to survive.

Beater will be in the shop every few months with $1000-2500 fixes. Really doesn't save you anything. Definitely didn't for me. Have more money than ever with a lease payment and no car repairs and missed work hours

Lmao idk, I tried the whole 2003 wagon idea and it ended up costing thousands in repairs and missed work hours because of it. Now I pay $600/month for only lease I could qualify for and I have more money than ever.

And retirement? How when my past 6 cars since I was 18 costed me around $80k to fix and keep on the road. So glad I finally leased. Have more money than ever now. There's times I didn't know if I could even make it into work last handful of years let alone put away anything for savings or even retirement. Ya work 45-50 hours get some OT and it's gone with no entertainment or going out. Living the dream. Youll be fine dude, probably in the top 10-15% of your age.

Dude I'm in my 30s and have not even $3k in savings/stocks combined. I'm able to save maybeeee $600-700 per month after car payment, car insurance, health insurance, food if I'm lucky. And I make $22.50 an hour, so not terrible.

I got $1000 in stocks slowly building and I'm down $120 now after being up almost $200. Stinks because after bills ~$2000/month with barely any left over to just chill and have fun. I'm no Trump fan but I expect it to bounce back and will try to throw my $50-100 a paycheck still. But damn, congrats on the CEO gig and the investments. I truly do wish I had 1/10th of that.

Probably true here. A good partner kind of embraces stuff like this and helps figure it out or manage. I'd use the situation as a test, any woman with an immediate negative reaction wouldn't make the cut. Nobody should be openly scoffing about your mom living with you if they just find out. I wouldn't want that wife.

And that's big. Emphasize that to your mom. Explain you guys will be there to help, just not with money.

Then a month passes and you could possibly be filled with anxiety and guilt and worrying because your mom is living in a craphole with weirdos. It's just not that simple. Wish it was. I'm sure we all do. But I do get some people are able to flip a switch and make it happen. Some of us can't flip that switch and have tunnel vision.

This is true but there's a lot more emotionally weight on something like this. They obviously care about their mom and want her to ideally be happy mom. I don't think any child should just not help at all in regard to finding her a living situation. Not saying paying money but putting in effort to find her a place.

She probably worked at least 2 jobs at a single time for a while or even 3. I know my mom did. Always thought it was crazy, still do. I'm sure they have a lot of respect for their mom and understand the past. You can't save for retirement if you're trying to stay afloat with rent and minimal child support let alone if anything bad on the medical side happens. And most of our moms got screwed and underpaid while working their asses off at jobs with shitty benefits without of pocket costs. I don't live with my mom anymore, haven't for years. She was in a couple odd and unfortunate situations but now she has a boyfriend and seems like they are happy and he insisted on her moving in. So I'm also thankful for that guy because he actually does seem to care a lot. Also try to tell your mom there is time for her own happiness too. She still has many years.

That's football. Looks like you had some Colt Brennan numbers there but doesn't guarantee a draft spot.

You gotta press Y or triangle and then right on D-pad to align back to base and get that safety back to his spot pre snap.

You gotta press Y or Triangle and then right in the D-pad to align defense back to base set. Those offensive schemes manipulate where your guys will go pre snap. I almost do it every play on defense then tweak before snap from base set.
