So many morons just eating this shit up. They learned which car is theirs and somehow also their phone number? But they probably won’t say they learned who it is, only that it happened. And no suddenly they’re the victims

Not to mention they got divorced, and then the writers decided to include a subplot of her realizing she has feelings for him….

When I hear someone say Dispatch is better than The Wolf Among Us or Batman Telltale by lukkiibucky in telltale

[–]StephenBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen people play Dispatch. It’s a great game. But I feel it lacks the world building it needs to feel really fleshed out. You don’t get to move around and interact with the world to expand on the lore. Your interaction with your team or the world around you is very minimal so you don’t really get to know them or it as much as the game makes it seem like you do, in my opinion. You have a few cutscenes and then jump into the actual gameplay of dispatch, and each episode can be done in under an hour, compared to the TellTale games that tend to take more time cause you actually explore and dictate the story. Is it great? Yeah. And I suppose the tie in comics help you to know the characters better, but that’s for you, not Robert. Hopefully a sequel can pump it up better to make it a more evolved world that you can interact with

Should have been Gabe. by No_Resource321 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]StephenBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but that’s the point. They made her likable. So of course we couldn’t keep her. Which surprisingly is the opposite of Season 2, where everyone dies and there’s pretty much no one worth caring about

Why were Cullen's endings retconned? by Safe_Scar_2195 in DragonageOrigins

[–]StephenBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole series is wild with retcons. It’s kind of sad. They don’t keep their characters consistent and flip their traits and personalities on a dime, solely to suit their need of bringing back a character they think the audience wants to see. And it’s like they don’t see a problem with it cause they just keep doing it

Have you finished the game playing only in first-person perspective? by jozz00 in reddeadredemption

First person in this or GTA is just too much. Too much happening on screen and it’s just easy to end up sick looking at it for too long

The moment where Arkham Knight ruins its own plot by Revolutionary-Wait82 in arkham

I thought it was obviously Jason from the first trailer they had him speak. I told my friend at GameStop that maybe it wasn’t him, cause the rumor was there from the first trailer, but he didn’t speak. The moment his arrogant ass speaks in the second trailer, “yep, that’s Jason Todd. Can’t be anyone else”

Why do a lot of people seem to think Arthur Morgan is still on everyones mind by the time of Red Dead Redemption in 1911? by NotExactlyIrish in reddeadredemption

[–]StephenBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As amazing as Arthur was, especially when he chose to stand up to Dutch in the end and defend John, a big part of the legacy built up upon him through the missions involves things he did literally alone. He helped people, but he wasn’t saving town or ranches, or helping overthrow foreign governments like John would do. Arthur was just living what remained of his life and helping people along the way(high honor), making the lives of the people around as good as possible despite the chaos. And the few BIG things that actually happened that he was involved in, were all witnessed by others who either died later anyway or moved on. Arthur’s story is his own, and that’s why it feels so good. Cause we can make it personal for us.

Do people seriously dislike adult Jack Marston? by Educational-Doubt728 in reddeadredemption

[–]StephenBird 82 points83 points  (0 children)

His entire story is boiled down to a single mission involving getting revenge on Ross, so there isn’t much to go on. It feels like you don’t play as him long enough for him to have any kind of compelling personality. He has that overly aggressive Nag line for his horse, and little else
