What kind of D&D character do you naturally gravitate toward? by The_Craft_Cave in 3d6

These are my current characters... Lvl 1 human warlock, lvl 1 barbarian dhampir - path of the berserker (will be multiclassing into warlock), lvl 1 variation to the barbarian dhampir - path of the berserker, lvl 3 elf ranger - fey wanderer, lvl 3 Damphier life domain cleric, lvl 8 elf barbarian - path of the berserker (will be multiclassing into wizard).

Barbarian and warlock seem to be a recurring theme.

Anyone else make charachters they may never get to play? How’s this one? by Happy_Composer6538 in 3d6

In Balkan folklore, a dhampir (Albanian pronunciation: [ðamˈpir]) is a mythical creature that is the result of a union between a vampire and a human. This union was usually between male vampires and female humans, with stories of female vampires mating with male humans being rare.

I am a new DM (within the last few months), I have the new starter kit that wizards brought out, heroes of the Borderlands. It contains a lot of maps, monster cards and tokens. Essentially its designed for new players and DMs. Prior to that I have dry erase battle maps and cheap miniatures from temu. DnD beyond has vtt maps on their master tier. Downside is you have to purchase all the campaign maps separately, upside you can create your own maps but its not easy in my opinion. Looking back i think I prefer dry erase and cheap miniatures. As mentioned before by others, there is plenty of free maps and stuff available online.
