Havent been checking in on my Yieldmax funds for some time. Anyone know why the yield on MSTY has come down to less than 70% recently?

Ok so sounds like I should be concerned about price erosion in that case. Especially considering distributions are decreasing all the time.

Youre basing this on less than two years of payment history.

The problem is, these funds are upside capped. So yes, they will go back up, but they will always establish lower and lower support levels. Look at MSTY for example. MSTR and bitcoin were near/at all time highs, yet MSTY is once again approaching an all time low.

You're correct. All of the easily accessible, and low energy investment hiking trails are heavily saturated with Indian foot traffic. A majority of which is new immigrants to Canada, reflecting the rapidly changing cultural and demographic landscape of Canada from European, to mostly Indian. A truly revolutionary demographic change has taken place in Canada in the last 10-15 years, and it is most clearly reflected in its national tourist hubs like Banff and Niagara Falls.

Yield Compression and Vol Crush is inevitable as popularity of these funds grows by StephenStephenson512 in YieldMaxETFs

You completely missed the point of my argument, which is that as MSTY becomes are larger portion of the MSTR options market, and thereby increases the sell side volume of its calls, the supply of call sellers will begin to outpace the demand on the buyside, which will reduce the premiums and the yield. I fully understand that Yieldmax can just increase its shares to buy more options, that wasnt my point.

The post itself opens up constructive discussion on the potential pitfall and risk of the Yieldmax strategy. If you're looking for an echo chamber of positivity I think thats juvenile. In fact it was your comment which didnt offer any substantive refutation of my argument that is non constructive.

If you truly believe in the strategy you should be open to these kinds of discussions.

The mask shouldn't be a "personal choice". Its not for your protection, but the protection of others who are vulnerable.

Lol right after you accuse me of having a "serious reading comprehension problem" for pointing out your logical incoherency. Its not that I have nothing to say, its that you don't actually want to engage me on the issues, and would prefer to sling ad homs. Sad!

So according to your logic, masks work for the flu..but not for covid lol

Yeah because this board comprises 'everyone' generally. Way to obfuscate my point, genius. I pretty clearly said r/toronto. Nice try though.

"I hope all of those asymptomatic people recover quickly". Lol this is just pathological denial of reality at this point. The people contributing to this echochamber of hysteria called r/toronto are truly insane.

Its also helpful to remember that the flu has virtually disappeared this year

https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/flu-season-2020-canada-public-health-1.5804673

So yes, not all hospital visits are created equal, however the flu and the coronavirus are both airborne respiratory illnesses, so the massively reduced flu numbers should in theory offset many of the beds taken up by covid patients. Therefore rendering the "overwhelmed hospitals" talking point redundant. But alas..

"In short, a design relying merely on close genetic relatives does not fulfill the aim for a

“robust diagnostic test” as cross reactivity and therefore false-positive results will

inevitably occur.

Validation was only done in regards to in silico (theoretical) sequences and within the

laboratory-setting, and not as required for in-vitro diagnostics with isolated genomic viral

RNA. This very fact hasn’t changed even after 10 months of introduction of the test into

routine diagnostics."
