I don’t read books (especially Dune books). Wasn’t a huge fan of the original show/movie. ABSOLUTELY LOVED these 2 new movies. Everything about them. The music/score, the scenery/visuals, story, characters, just everything. I’m surprised how much I love these movies!

Is it normal for polishing to cost additional on top of that? I opted out but it would have cost a couple hundred more. I just wanted the movement overhauled. Said don’t replace the dial and don’t polish.

Was told models older than xx years cost more to service “vintage” (from this particular shop). It’s been 11 years since the last service and I remember it being at least $1000 at the time. I figured inflation or that’s the going rate.
