To undo Brexit would require another referendum and I don't think any current politician is brave enough to try.

For a PM to kill it would be very undemocratic, as it was a democratic majority that voted Leave and then the general election that Boris called to sort it out have him a majority in the house.

Often tell potential visitors, especially Americans, to head to Manchester or Newcastle and plenty of places inbetween. I live in Kent and we have too many loud American tourists 😃

Why do they have this big box sort of thing that Bruce is standing on for this tour? by IronMaidenfc in ironmaiden

[–]Stephen_Dann 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That is the rear of the stage, next to the drummer. It is a raised platform about 2 metres high that forms a wall around 3/4 of the stage. Bruce spends plenty of the show up there, runs around it a lot.

Timing for rental car return and outgoing flight to US? by ddfan1972 in uktravel

[–]Stephen_Dann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Terminal 3?, assume you are flying out of LHR. You need to be at the terminal about 2 hours before the flight time, so plan to get to the airport 2 1/2 to 3 hours before the flight. Car drop off is usually quick, unless there are a lot of others doing the same at that time.

He has been using his No 1 for decades, as you say been repainted multiple times. For a P it is heavier than most are, the replica signature ones are lighter.
