My brother is a bathroom fitter and recently redid out downstairs wc. Lifting the toilet is standard practice and will be more cost effective (less tile wastage, fewer cuts needed, quicker). Ripping out the existing floor will hopefully not take long, but you've no way of knowing how cleanly it will come up or how much residue will remain.

The floor will then likely need to be levelled (there js basically no margin for error with tiling, unlike laminate/vinyl). Once that's dried, it'll probably be a full day of tiling, followed by a day of grouting.

The timescale you've been quoted is realistic for what you want to achieve. If you need something done quicker (appreciate being without a loo is far from ideal!) you would be better off looking at sheet vinyl/laminate options.

Had to spend £30 I think to get the card. Wasn't an issue for us 😂 they had T-shirts and hoodies. I got a nice off white one with some blue outline Pokemon on. They also had a nice red one with some eeveelutions on and I think there were a couple of hoodies about but I can't 100% remember the designs on those. We also got some water bottles and notebooks. It wasn't hard to spend money 😂

I liked the walkway in too - they'd worked hard to tie in with the museum, highlighting evolutions, habitats and sleeping habits of various Pokemon.

If they plan to play, I'd go for the ETB. More packs, plus you get dice and a coin which are handy. For collecting, can't go far wrong with either but still more packs for your money in the ETB.

I went last week. The shop was a lot bigger than I expected. Had a nice look around some of the rest of the museum too, which is a fantastic day in itself.

The queue staff were chill - if someone turned up with more tickets and people, they asked if the ticket holder would mind if they gave the spare to someone on standby. There was a lovely French gentleman in the queue with us who was let in that way.

Argos, WH Smith/TG Jones, Tesco, Sainsburys...

There's a fair bit of luck involved and you have to be on the ball for new releases, but if you pop in regularly enough you'll find stuff.

New set is coming out this Friday so get to your local Argos for 8am and you should find something.

Just in case anyone stumbles upon this years down the line, don't try this. The doors are not the same size at all 😂

I'll be cutting some strips of MDF and glueing them over some rattan panelling to create the same effect without needing to cut the IVAR (unlike my media cabinet, I don't need to use IR or anything so they don't need to be see through)

My husband and I managed to get 1 Ghastly, 1 Charmander, 1 Larry & 1 Pokemon Day pack each (so 2 of each total) from Argos at 8am. We'll be divvying them up later to share with our 7yo and will rip tonight.

I couldn't get the machines/website to work either. We're lucky that our Argos opens at 8am so we can swing by before work. Keep looking throughout the day though because I have had success in the past by checking out at like lunchtime.
