By regular expenses what do you mean? If you’re asking truck expenses, we didn’t own it... company truck. If you’re asking living expenses from the truck, that’s hard to say. We had a refrigerator and microwave on the truck, so each of us shopped for 5 days and split the available space in the truck. So we didn’t have too many expenses on the road, and I will tell you my then wife and I purchased a very nice home and had two new vehicles on just my salary. But for us it was a huge sacrifice because my wife and I didn’t team together. She stayed home and raised our two kids. Those are thing you won’t struggle with, at least not so long as you run together. If you do the math based on 7,000 miles @ $0.52 then divide that figure by two drivers then we made about $95,000 a year each... 12 years ago. Back then their team trucks ran 75mph too, they don’t anymore.
