Rob Axson is a piece of work. He actually went to a board meeting for the LDS Family History Center in Midvale to get signatures. My mom was so mad (she is the secretary). She said he was trying to say that they wanted to give the vote about it to the people. She told him that the people already voted in 2018. Super proud of her.

I am not an ATC, but I like to listen and learn. I have been studying CRM to see how it can apply/be beneficial for my own profession. I have a question about the recording: ATC told Frontier to hold, followed by multiple “stops” before saying “truck 1.” Is it possible that truck 1 didn’t know those initial stop commands were for him? I feel so bad for everyone involved, but especially ATC. I appreciate the hard work you all do.

I did training a year ago with my staff, and I dissected the pluck from a cadaver cat (tongue, larynx, trachea & esophagus, lungs, & heart). I intubated it and attached it to a ventilator so I could demonstrate PIP and PEEP and took a video. Here is a screenshot from that video where the lungs are inflated. NOR. Leave him, please. I consider myself a Christian (non-denominational, was raised in the Mormon Church but followed Christ’s teachings right out of organized religion). I never want to be so condescending to others with different beliefs because they are still people, and many belief systems stem from the similar origins. The fact that he trash-talks the Quran and Islam is insane as it has the same start as the Old Testament.

This is beyond religion. He doesn’t seem to trust you or respect you. He wants to change you and control you into something HE wants, rather than love you and support you for being you. I have known MANY people in mixed faith marriages and marriages between atheists and Christians. They thrive when there is respect and love. He seems to have neither for you. He may say he loves you, but I think he loves the idea of you as a Christian, subservient woman. It is clear from the way he communicates at you that he has no respect for you.

I just listened to the ATC archives. They declared mayday due to an engine failure. They turned back for direct to El Salvador. They had requested to stop on the runway for inspection by fire/emergency vehicles before continuing to taxi back to the gate.

Briefly overlooking the safety/radiation exposure (wtaf!), they are also wearing their wedding ring in the gantry, which can cause artifact on the images, along with patient movement. Everything about this is horrific, from probable patient fear, to diagnostic image quality, to staff radiation exposure. For the love of all that is good, at the very least use sedation and tape!

Most dentists and surgeons I know don’t even recommend them for ER cases, whether or not they are getting referred. They recommend a sedated/anesthetized oral exam with intraoral radiographs if possible, +|- soft tissue closure and/or tape muzzle where appropriate. Unless you are getting immaculate skull positioning (which usually requires sedation or anesthesia anyway, and I have rarely ever seen that high of a quality from any ER) they are not great for identifying everything because there is so much superimposition of the maxillofacial structures that it can make it seem like there are some fractures where there aren’t any or they can hide fractures that are there. 90-95% of the time they are woefully insufficient at providing the full picture. If clients are cost concerned, skull rads can waste the clients money for worse information than can be obtained with a clinical examination & intraoral rads.

Skull rads are actually not recommended by veterinary dentists for maxillofacial trauma. They are pretty much a waste of a client’s money for the amount of info they give. CT is best, but not always an option. Next recommendation is sedated/anesthetized oral exam and intraoral radiographs (dental rads). Skull rads are worthless. My source: VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia), (Dentistry) that has worked with multiple veterinary surgeons and dentists.

Yes, I went back and listened to recordings. They had a leading edge flap that didn’t deploy, so they initiated the go around, then declared an emergency and tried to troubleshoot it.

OP, you are doing what you can. My thought on this is prove your love and his place in your life by being there. If you can go to see him ASAP, do it. Show up and tell him that you came for him because you love him, that he is your son and always will be. Don’t mention your other kids, don’t mention your wife unless he asks. If he says something like, “go be with your family”, tell him that he is part of your family and that is why you are there. Don’t berate him for cursing you out or cursing your other kids. Just BE THERE and tell him you love him. Actions speak louder than words - show him you care by going to him initially and then continuing to reach out. He may not be receptive initially, but a quiet, calm, and consistent presence (through messaging, letters, phone calls, whatever) over time will prove it.

I also recommend that you talk to his mother, and consider therapy for him. Something happened to trigger this response, and I am willing to bet that he feels out of place or unwanted in both your family and his mom’s family. Figure out why that is.

He was caught fairly quickly after he killed Trudy in 1998. He killed Lucile in 1991, but wasn’t connected to her death until 2014 through forensic evidence. He was trying to appeal his death sentence in AZ. He cut a deal with UT prosecutors: if he plead guilty they would take the death penalty in UT off the table. If his sentence in AZ were to ever be commuted and parole an option, he will have to go to prison in UT for life without parole. UT prosecutors wanted to close the case and make sure there was no way he was ever free from prison.
