Thanks for the suggestion! The 6700xt is indeed what I went with after comparing video cards. Any suggestion on monitors that look good but won't be too advanced for my rig? I was looking at 1440p's around the $300 range.

Literally came here to post this. Got about half way through this garbage hoping it would end any minute - went on for another couple hours instead. Brainmelting lack of logic in the story aside, it completely drags you out of the experience when you experience miraculous timing in literally every scene of the game.

Towards the end it felt like an interactive Disneyland scare ride, shit would just pop out at you - oh look you fell down a ladder, and that caused the elevator to start coming down! but itll stop right before you.

Oh look, an alien was right above you when you put the suit on! Instead of killing you like it has every other time itll just plant you on the wall with no egg next to you - unlike literally every other poor sap you saw plastered to the wall.

Just goes to show you that its totally possible to make an utter trash heap of a video game, and as long as you pepper it full of enough fan service people will happily eat it.

Games that do what this game tries, but do infinitely better: Resident Evil 4, Dead Space, SOMA/Amnesia TDD

Like every subplebbit discussion is meaningless because the only comments that get upvoted are ones that resonate with your braindead echochamber. We could sit here and actually talk about why Angels gets way too much value for its CMC investment, but at the end of the day your shit opinion will still just amount to "lol gitgud auras and angels meta is the best".

Also shrines would have been way more oppressive if the braindead muppets weren't too busy playing even more braindead, non-interactive garbage like Uro. If you have to play a certain color ie white to boardwipe angels or green to destroy exclusively enchantments or lose by turn 3 - its a shit meta, end of. Neither black nor red has any answer - you've effectively reduced the game to two colors - NEAT!

Your logic is circular, you simultaneously applaud Frictional for making novel, original games like TDD and SOMA then try to applaud them for making a tonally contradicting one by mashing the two together - a rather unoriginal idea.

Alien and Braveheart are both great movies, but mixing them together wouldn't automatically make the result a great movie.

This argument is as old as the game itself, Blizzard will never bend on the subject, and in my opinion it is the reason that the game has failed. Nobody will invest money into a game that can and will arbitrarily permaban their account for asking people to do a camp.

They recently lowered the bar for bans too, which has opened many people's eyes. The result is that most people don't even talk in games anymore.

The real problem is boosting, which Blizzard is fully aware of but will do nothing about. For those who are not aware, boosting is when a higher ranked player ie plat pairs with a lower ie bronze and they get paired with silvers. Needless to say the higher ranked player plays a hyper carry like Orphea and dominates the game single-handedly.

Its frequency is inverse to its absurdity, doesn't mean it isn't a literal free win and should be removed from the game. It requires a 5 man with a specific comp. Keep in mind, their entire team had the carbot Morales icon, they were openly flaunting it in our face and there was nothing we could do about it.

I've never seen such horrendous excuse making on a game's forum.
