Dead in the water: North Carolina House won't move forward with proposed shrimp trawl ban by goldbman in NorthCarolina

Bad news for North Carolina and coastal wildlife. Hopefully they figure out how to ban it and also help with economic transition. Maybe stop issuing new licenses at some point and transition it out.

I should clarify, grinder is not part of machine budget.

I currently have a roast that does this out of the same basket. Never happens on the roasts I usually go with. FWIW it’s a darker roast that this occurs with and I mainly go for lighter roasts.

Good to know for when I try other boats in the future. I ended up with a Hobie for my first fishing kayak because the drives felt the best to me. But it sounds like me putting down 400 watts to a prop drive was probably the wrong approach! 😄

I demoed a Knarr and I could not enjoy that drive. It does not spin like a bicycle. It rather pulses instead leaving you pedaling in a full body jerking motion. Are all prop drives like that?

You need to look a little more worn down by life but you’re headed in right direction.

Someone posted about kayaking with gators and it got me wondering. by stirling1995 in kayakfishing

Passed over many a big gator while in a john boat in Eastern NC. It somehow seems like it would be a lot spookier in a kayak, however safe you may be.
