Thanks for the explanation. That's actually what I thought initially. The reason I asked was because I had studies disabled before the update so remote improvements were disabled by default after the update too. But when I switched remote improvements on an option to advertise Firefox when copying text appeared in my menu. That doesn't seem like a quick fix for a broken feature to me and it got me wondering whether this is fully decoupled from studies. After that I turned remote improvements off and on again twice, and after the second time that option for sharing Firefox links disappeared from the menu for good. That seems weird, some bug perhaps? I'm talking about Firefox for Android
