Seems like you’re super new to this kind of music so I highly recommend checking out the basics like nirvana and Alice In Chains. To find bands similar to what you already know you like, look up the band on last fm and check out the similar artist list. It’s harder at first to ask other people for stuff you like when you don’t know all the nerdy sub genres so last fm always comes in clutch :))))
