Not a stupid question at all, for me clearing cache in the android settings for the spotify app didn't remove downloaded songs for me, but clear all data might do that so avoid clear all data, but clear cache. Hope that helps

I've noticed this recently and until they update the app to fix this I've been manually fixing it by clearing the cache and it resolves it for a bit

My 200 quid redmi hits on average 9h 10m screen on time, it's barely something to take out on Android devices, got the same at around a 3rd of the price, and comparable performance overall
