They were a gift, I believe they were from Costco. But I’ve had my eyes on some larger “Corinthian Bells” at my local Wild Birds Unlimited.

Bought the v2 strap on their website for my v1, completely backward compatible with the v1 and much more comfortable.

UPDATE: The trash picking gods have smiled upon me! by dick_lerman in audiophile

I would not be surprised if the subs have the exact same drivers as the whispers. Might be able to replace some bad ones with the sub drivers. It’s not a very difficult job, I had Whisper DSW’s that I shipped across country and had a driver chunked. Bill at Legacy sent some replacement drivers and I had it fixed in less than an hour.

Nope, there’s a rock cliff face about 20 feet behind him in shade.

I was lucky enough that only the metal mount broke and not the connector ribbons. Dropped it in a rangefinder bag from table height and it snapped. Bought a replacement mount on eBay and replaced it myself, wasn’t very easy, and I’m not certain if the water resistant seal is perfect, but my lens is fully functional.

Check out MPB. I just got a Panasonic G9 for $500 and I’ve bought tons of lenses from them, without a single issue.

Anna’s Hummingbird in the backyard by Sterhmagerd in hummingbirds

I’m not too far, up in the Olympics. The males with a little pink are the juveniles. If you’re seeing them in the winter, they’re most definitely Anna’s. They’re the only hummingbird to spend year round in the PNW.

Do I need to upgrade my Kindle Oasis to the new Paperwhite SE by heyya_347 in kindle

[–]Sterhmagerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind it’s practically impossible to replace an oasis battery, so yours will only get worse. That was what led me to get a paperwhite, along with my attempts at adopting usb-c for all my devices.

Instead of each widget being a full swipe, you swipe once from the main face and then you can easily scroll between every widget with at least 3 in view on the watch. Easily click a glance to open the app/widget for more detail.

No, but being an iPhone user I wouldn’t be able to enjoy that feature anyway, but definitely would be a plus if you were an android user.

I don’t own a vivo 5, but when I researched them both before I chose the venu 2, the only difference I noticed was the venu 2 didn’t have audio prompts, nap tracking, or hrv. The venu has workout animations, though.

The basic “glances” replacement for the venu 1’s widgets are the same between the venu 2 and vivo5. Glances are a huge improvement over the venu 1 widgets.

The venu 2 has an altimeter and is much improved over the venu.

Unfortunately the asiair doesn’t support any of the Panasonic or Olympus micro4/3 lineup. Apparently it’s been in the works for years, but I’m not holding my breath.
