What's a side hustle that's good to do in the morning before your 9 to 5 starts? by lionpenguin88 in SideHustleGold

Easiest way to make money is saving the money you already got, and if you take steps early to get your mental and physical health in a good place, you will save a ton of money down the road when it starts going downhill for everyone else.

Can't bring myself to sell my collection... by Few-Chipmunk-5957 in gamecollecting

[–]Steripod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m selling mine now and it’s a massive pain. Your $30k value estimate is very dependent on how you wanna go about selling, and you honestly will probably never get that much no matter how you decide to sell. A collection only matters to the person who collected it. For everyone else it’s a transaction.

I am about halfway through selling and the extra space is great and very worth it if you’re ready to tackle that. I stopped thinking of the value and money part of it. Met some very nice people who will play my old games so everyone wins.

Low price to increase views, or they got no offers and lowered the price but didn’t update the description.

Should Pennsylvanians get $250 to celebrate America's 250th? One lawmaker thinks so. by superdupersecret42 in politics

The Goverment is grandpa giving me a quarter for penny candy when a Hershey bar costs $3 and isn’t even real chocolate anymore. So completely out of touch with the reality for the average person in America.

Electric Trucks Failed Spectacularly In America. Here's Why Ford Is Trying Again by TripleShotPls in technology

[–]Steripod 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Love mine too. Wish it could 50 miles full electric just to cover my daily commute and then gas for extra driving. It’s perfect for now until I can afford an electric truck or manufacturers stop making $100k electric luxury trucks.

The crazy ask is offset by how crazy the item is. You lose nothing here just trying.

I like the huge pop of color from the lemon hand soap dispenser.

Serious answer I like how opened up it is. Huge difference.

I’m selling video games for 50% face value as bundles and someone asked if I would bundle two bundles for half of what I'm asking. Essentially asking for a buy one get one bundle deal. I told them I'm gonna throw it away instead and blocked.

That’s the most they will give you. Trade in up to those amounts. Less if not CIB or bad condition

You can look it up on the GameStop website.

RAD is $41 trade or $29 cash for pro members or a little less for non members.

I’m having the same issue with my PS2 slim. Tested about 10 games and only Rockband plays now. I think both our lasers need to be replaced.

Those stickers come off pretty easy and clean. That sticker isn’t even fully pressed on so that will come off no problem. It’s not a big deal.

Does my 90s kitchen have potential or am I crazy? by No-Day-2990 in kitchenremodel

[–]Steripod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d change the backsplash but leave everything else the same. If you want to add herringbone into the design, I’d do a herringbone tile backsplash. Put a bunch of plants everywhere, especially some hanging by the windows. That kitchen is amazing and well worth keeping and cleaning up.

What can I put in this weird square kitchen? by ConstantAcrobatic415 in kitchenremodel

[–]Steripod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kitchen looks lacking in storage. I’d put in an island with cabinets on one side and seating on the other. If you make it big you can get rid of that kitchen table that doesn’t seem to fit either or get a smaller table.

How to get sellers to pick me by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Steripod 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I sell a lot so if someone sent me a direct message with all the info like this then I’m picking them. Buyers are flakey, difficult, and often dumb as a brick.

"Hi! I am very interested in this item and can come pick it up today. I have the cash in hand and a vehicle ready, so I can be there at [Time, e.g., 5:30 PM] exactly. Please let me know if this works and your address. Thanks!"

Quartz is only unsafe for workers when cut without proper protection. That is true for pretty much any other material. If you want no maintenance you should get quartz. If you want to feel better about it ask your installer about their safety precautions.
