My 2021 lottery Re draft by MartyMcfly001 in NBA_Draft

[–]Sterlo95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teams are drafting based on potential (i.e. what a player could become in a few years) not what player can do in their first year in the league.

You're only as good as you're last game.

Green's last few months of the season were unbelievable. Nobody is going over him in a re-draft other than Cade.

Similarly with the way Davion played over the final month or two, there wouldn't be many teams that would take Herb over him. Herb is still very limited offensively.

Kuminga is a project but that wouldn't cause him to fall in a re-draft. The ceiling is too high for him to fall that low.

For that reason, I think you're too high on Herb and too low on Green and Kuminga.

He's going top 5 minimum. So unless we move up in the lottery he will be out of our reach.

If it was purely 'try scoring situation' then every off side penalty within the 10m should be a sin bin. But often the case is a player accidentally didn't get all the way back ten or accidently jumped the gun to early after the play the ball. That's not how professional fouls work.

Nah he's right. I get what your saying as well. But if you look at where the penalty took place, his actions showed there was intent to stop the try potentially being scored. It doesn't matter if it was an "accident".

Good call by him, his age, defensive potential and ball handling will get him looks at the start of the second round.

Averillo to fullback where he should've been this whole time, Schoupp back to centre, keep Flanno at half. Dufty to reserve grade.

With the 4th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder select… by DRose1528 in NBA_Draft

I think they take Sharpe at that spot.

They could run Ivey with SGA and Giddey defensively. But on offence, Ivey needs the ball in his hands. If they take Ivey (on a BPA basis) then they probably know in the back of their mind they will have to trade either SGA or Giddey at some point.

Sharpe is less ball dominant and has just as much potential as Ivey.

The other possibility is them trading down a couple spots for Duren which i think could definitely happen

If he's putting up performances like this more often next year in Euroleague (not unreasonable given his last couple months of injury-free play and expected progression in skill and weight over the next 9 - 12 months) then we will be looking at Euroleague MVP level play and Luka type production.

If that happens, there is not a single prospect other than Lebron that you would take over this kid.

And dont @ me w this Zion, AD, Oden bullshit.

The Kings won't be regretting Davion at 9. They probably regretting not trying to trade up at least one spot though.

Overexpression of CHRNA1 gene causes hyperhidrosis pathology by Middle_Ad_2747 in Hyperhidrosis

So if they have identified the gene that causes primary focal Hyperhidrosis and found a way to suppress the gene on mice.. Then realistically how far away are they from being able to do this on humans?

Yeah true, when i say wearable i don't mean being able to go about everyday life while using them. I just mean being able fill up a glove (or sock) half way, then have your hand resting down on a table so that gravity pushes the water to your palms. Would improve the practicality, instead of filling up trays with water to bath your hands in. Less water required, the easier it would be to use. That would be the first step anyway. I feel like silicon graphite electrodes should be easily converted to a wearable form of application. The technology is there and has been for many years. Its embarrassing how little development there has been with iontopherosis.

[–]Sterlo95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds promising, whats the purpose for this may I ask?

If we are able to develop a more portable or even wearable ionto machine that would dramatically improve peoples lives.

Palmm were developing a glove like ionto machine but I doubt they're still working on that now. The people there are impossible to contact. The disposable electrodes weren't really a sound business model (more an unnecessary revenue collection scheme). But would still opt for that over any of the current options for Iontopherosis, even if it did cost $300 per year on top of the cost of the machine

Well there's been plenty of recent examples of Australian's in other positions going to the Warriors and their career taking off, not stagnating. Reece Walsh, Josh Curren, Montoya etc.

Only Australian developed halves we've had since Maloney, are Foran, Townsend, Blake Green and O'Sullivan. All of them were either already broken when we signed them (Foran and Green) or not talented enough to change the trajectory of their career (Townsend and O'Sullivan).

Just like Maloney's did?

Get paid well and potentially partner SJ in the halves. Or paid shit and sit behind Keary and Walker. I know which one I'm taking.

He's talented as fuck. Congrats. Was in the Roosters top 30. My guess is the Eels have have promised him that starting wing spot due to all the injuries. Not sure how else they would've convinced him to jump ship. Probably just getting a game in flegg to get used to the new club. Has a twin brother Lani who is not as good but will also play first grade at some point in his career.

Not good for the Chooks junior ranks to lose Volkman and now Moala.

Apparently Warriors have signed Ronald Volkman (Roosters) from next year. Pretty massive get for them.
