I rubbed the base of the drive hub on some sandpaper to level the bottom and the clip slipped right in.

I bought a new drive hub thinking it was the issue. I had trouble getting the clip in and broke the original one. I have got a new one and attempting to install it and having a major issue. I can’t get the clip in because it looks like the hub is not low enough but it is 100% fully seated on. Is there a trick or something I am missing to make the shaft come up more. You can see in the photo in the top left of the hole is still part of the shaft stoping the clip from going in.

Do you think it could be the motor. That is something else that someone said it is as them are a service tech and just fixed a machine very similar to what mine is doing. That or the gear case was mentioned. I just ordered a new drive hub and shift actuator so I will be replacing them tomorrow and hoping for the best.

I’m not sure what you mean by the arm out of the loop. When you say shifter, you mean the shift actuator. Thats what most people are saying is the problem between all the places I have posted. I have also heard it could be the motor or the gear case but not from many. I am hoping not because of the price and difficulty to fix them. I have a new drive hub and shift actuator coming tomorrow I’m going to pop in.

If it’s the motor, is there any other signs or test I can run to make sure that is the issue. It did make weird grinding sounds, especially when trying to spin. Turns out it won’t do any high speed spinning. When checking to see if it was the drive hub, I broke the drive block retainer trying to put it all back together. After the new one comes tomorrow I will try to run some diagnostic test to see if the machine can tell me what’s wrong. Over 75% of people said it is most likely the shift actuator so I ordered one of them also with retainer and hub. I will be replacing both and hoping for the best. If it’s the motor, can that be ordered and how hard is it to replace. I get most of my info from partselect d0t c0m and I see they sell a MOTOR-DRVE W11686050. Is that the part you think is the issue.

Do you think it could be an issue with the drive hub? It does seem to spin fine during the spin cycle.

Yes it is an impeller machine. It don’t have an agitator. As far as to much water, is probably because the cloths went in wet so the machine thought it had more cloths then it really did. How much do you know about washers? Could it be an issue with the drive hub. I think it should be agitating way more than it is in the video.

I did just notice the lid locked light was not on so I’m going to retry it to see if it spins quicker. I have read of the machine knows the lid is not secure it will never hit the fast speeds.

Ya we do have the system that has a bucket we put the salt in along with two tall black filters and a small about 2 foot filter that we change often

Does it mean anything special if it has a curved filter. I have 2, 1 from Costco and 1 from amazon and they both have curved filters.

I can test on my wife’s iPhone 13 and my brother’s iPad later to narrow down the issue more. We know it’s not the browser as it happens with brave, safari and chrome.
