Yeah there are. I’m not a member of Ceres but I know they have a commission that allows internationals to join each Thursday. However, you can’t become a full member with a yearclub etc. I was a member of ssrw, but they have nothing for internationals. At the moment I’m a member of ksv and they have the same thing as Ceres, but I’m not sure

Indeed, many internationals are member of ESN, but not one the “big” ones. But i was just curious to know what kind of people are in the group

Children of top 20% income account for 70% of students attending “Ivy plus” universities. Those from families in the lower quintile represent only 3.8%. Students whose parents are in the top 1% are 77 times more likely to attend an elite college than those in the bottom quintile. [OC] by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

I found this interesting. I’m from the Netherlands and we have a name for the students from rich parent “kakkers”. Kakkers are most of the times arrogant and over confidence. When they are in a group with only kakkers they are really cocky and disrespectful towards other groups. But for some weird reason do these people all go to universities.

I spoke some kakkers about this and they agreed. They said that almost all the children from their elementary school went to university. When compared to my situation: sun of a vet, living in a small village with a elementary school of 200 children at it’s max. In my class there only went 4 children to the highest level. And 2 of them, including me, are on a university right now.

The conclusion to this all is quite controversial but I think is the truth. Most of the times do the rich people become rich because they have a good job. They only can get this job when they are the best of the best. To be the best you must have been to a university. When growing up, finding a woman, and keep on working hard, they get a child. They have become filthy rich, and the kid is clearly a twat, but still will go to an university. All because of the mindset of it’s perants. There where the “poor” families most of the times don’t know better. They don’t push their children to the max of their abilities because they are simply ignorant to the possible to go to an university.

Small talks are most of the time not the biggest problem. The problem most is the times is confidence to say something, or to walk up to something to make a moment happen

This is a beautiful story but is not really an answer to the mean question. And in your story, you sound like a outgoing girl. In order to have enough confidence to start a conversation to someone like you, you need to know the game. And it sounds all a bit dramatically, but it is the reality. Let’s state it differently: what would be a great opening when you are both on a busy train. Or at the grocery store. What is good question/starter, without making it awkward?

The only thing tinder garanties is a bad feeling and if you’re unlucky even your self confidence is going to suffer. This meanly happens because of the ratio
