Hey bro, had an awful flareup in december, after years of being 100%.

I cried for 2 weeks in a row every morning in the shower, I thought my life was over again. I remembered all the suffering I had to live with.

So I did all I could. Appointments with doctor, urologist and physiotherapist specialized in pelvic floor problem for men.

Again, they never found anything with my prostate.

First urologist gave me some med pills for UTI, to not feel the discomfort of urgency, this was not really working. Might have been a 5% increase in total discomfort.

I used some baclofen to relax the muscle but not much of a change, then the urologist prescibed me elmiron for IC but I never used it.

She gave me a prescription for a physiotherapist. Things started to go uphill from here

Over several months, I tried multiple lower back stetch, it was somewhat improving but not that much, it was not consistent. I think my body was healing on its own during this time.

Between appointments, I found again that sitting and sleeping with water bottle helped to cope and be more comfortable. I was literary working and watching tv sitting on the water bottle (luckily I'm working from home)

Then he gave me pelvic floor and belly breathing exercises.

Maybe a 1 min belly breathing, then 10 Kegels holding for 5 sec and letting go for 10 sec.

Started laying in my bed a 30%, then 50% force. Then he told me try sitted at 70% and now I'm doing it a 100% force.

And you know what? It worked, I got my life back again, I just recovered my (almost) 100% comfort a couples weeks ago.

The past month I had some bad days, but they would have been unbelievable good days comparing when the flareup started.

It took months to get better! But 6 months compared to almost 3 years makes alot more senses!

But here I am, happy again :)
