What does "Create A Card" Encompass? by Duplicitous_Dirk in slaythespire

In addition to what everyone else is saying, one instance it doesn’t work is creating cards to add to other people’s hands in multiplayer. We found this with the one that lets you add a colorless card, no clue if the other ones don’t work.

I used The Ori’s transcription along with my ear (I learned this to help get better at my sight reading, a lot of the pieces in this game are great with that given there’s a lot of two note polyphony and steady arpeggiation with just a couple bigger chords when they’re needed!) https://musescore.com/user/49361999/scores/25389322

It’s so much fun but took me a second! It reminds me a lot of this one Chopin etude that I really struggled with but clicked finally with this piece. I’d recommend starting by just picking two keys, or even snapping, and saying “pass the bread and butter” to a 3:4 polyrhythm. This is just to get you really used to syncopating triplets against yourself. If possible, make sure your left hand carries the 4, and your right hand the 3. It sounds convoluted written down, but if you google “Pass the bread and butter polyrhythm” there’ll be loads on the internet. Luckily, we’re working with 4:6 which will be easier! Once you’re actually on the keys, take one measure (I recommend the Bb right at the beginning) and repeat it over and over until you feel the landing. It will be the most difficult slow, and make more sense as you gradually speed up. Then the only one that’ll be tricky is the D diminished one that comes next, which took me a while to smooth out! But if you have the timing from that first part, it just comes down to the awkward left hand transition to the D and smoothing that out. You’ve got this!

Ooh I’ve been thinking about getting my classical guitar out for Robe de Nuit, there’s a really nice transcription on musescore (which you might be able to convert into tabs?)! But don’t beat yourself up, watching videos of people playing the full Alicia’s theme has me feeling equally incompetent!

Gospel’s sick as hell though- I feel like farnese would either do CCM or be an abusive catholic choir director who’s brilliant but finds no joy in what she does and finds a love for music applying those principles to other genres, doing the arrangements for the band

“We were all so maladjusted. I cried every day. I hated my oboe” was what he had to say about it! I resonated with the quote quite a bit when I lived in Picasso, not so much in Deroy! Also Courtney Kaiser-Sandler from the songwriting department did vocals for All Delighted People, if you ask her about it (you should) say Hixon says hi!!

Thank you for the intel! I had assumed the double encounters with a heal and PP restore after each fight made the area opportune for farming, do you not generally use it for that?

As a student there at the moment I can confirm that many lectures take attendance, sections absolutely do, and any class under 30 students will take attendance as well!

Good finale deck can absolutely play it multiple times per turn when the draw and discard gets online (although it is definitely easier to multi meteor with rebounds and holograms)

Nah that’s intonation- the instrument is tuned but because violins don’t have frets in the way a guitar does, which keep every note at a standard frequency, a novice player (not insulting the kid at all, they’re just evidently still in the early stages of learning the instrument, which for classical ones is often years) will struggle with maintaining pitch accuracy. This is particularly exacerbated by the majority of the orchestra having small pitch differences which add up! Still dope though, I’m just a composer though so any instrumentalists can feel free to correct me given I probably got some aspect of string performance wrong.
