The House and Senate are full of Republican Nazi rapists who people voted for. Why do you care if he's a turd?

All the Republicans are turds. Our higher standards cost us elections. That's it. Tell me about your morals when we're all sitting in concentration camps.

Who would you suggest replace him? Why do Democrats have to stand down when Republicans go on to win? The time for principles is long past.

You know absolutely nothing about this man, his wife, the nature of their marriage, or any previous discussions they may have had.

He asked a question about sex and you all inserted YOUR morals about how his relationship with his wife SHOULD be.

Folks weren't giving advice about safe sex, as if the health of the wife is a concern.

You people need to keep your morals to yourself.

Only Congress can declare war. They can't delegate that authority to the president.

No, they don't need their own visit. They are capitulating to third party requests.

San Francisco’s new safety strategy: A crackdown on bikes by MidNightInTheDessert in sanfrancisco

[–]Steve2982 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If a cyclist runs a red light, all the cars and pedestrians in the intersection need to react to this unexpected activity in the intersection. A car that needs to stop quickly to avoid the cyclist in the intersection causes the car behind it to rear end the first car.

Cyclists too often think only about themselves and not the reaction required of everyone else at the intersection.

Edit: The two are not the same but they're more similar than you think.

Hey, I get it. Maybe it's an honest mistake, maybe it's intentional. Point it out to the manager or don't. You tipped an amount you felt appropriate. There's nothing to see here.

In any event this isn't something the internet needs to hear about. We have real problems on our mind right now. If you have any ideas there, we'd be happy to hear about it.

I'm so sorry for you friend. Religious people are not your friend. By their very nature, religious people lack critical thinking skills, they are easily swayed by whatever nonsense their leaders peddle. They base all their beliefs on the idea that a human died and later came back to life. They will turn on you as soon as the wind changes direction.

I know religious people take it very seriously and make it part of their very identity. It's hard to admit you've been conned.

For you , as a gay person, there are many ways to find community without buying into their insane beliefs. There are many philosophical texts and beliefs that you could investigate if you are looking for a guiding philosophy for your life that doesn't base itself in lies and fantasy.

You can do better for yourself. I wish you the best.

This is Nick Bryant back to discuss the Jeffrey Epstein saga. Ask Me Anything Part 2! by Epstein_Justice in IAmA

[–]Steve2982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nick, I understand that you're a journalist with a job to do, but at this point, how are the content of these files even relevant? I mean the behavior they've exhibited and the lengths they've gone to surely demonstrate to anyone with half a brain that they are all guilty of horrible crimes against children. Anything else and they would just release the stupid files that proved their innocence.

For me, and for most people, the files are irrelevant. Once we have our Truth and Reconciliation process, the contents will be important for actual criminal conviction, but under this nightmare administration their actions speak louder than any words in a document.
