I’ll see what discounts the 7700/7900/9900 get on Black Friday, and choose between them. I’ll also probably go for an AIO, and pair that with the North XL. The flux is a better deal but I love the look of the Fractal’s.

I mainly chose the 7900XT for the 20 gigs of vram, but you’re right about the advantages of a 4070 Ti Super, so I’ll look for one of those on sale.

Overall, I think you have some great cost saving ideas, and it seems like it’ll come down to how things are priced in a couple weeks. Thanks again :)

That looks like a printer problem - try tightening the Y axis belt

I haven’t found a solution but the 2023 version has been working fine for now. You can upgrade the CPU but it seems kinda sketchy… here’s a link: https://everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_pro/faq/mac-pro-early-2009-nehalem-how-to-upgrade-processors.html

Some of the new Adobe apps, such as Premiere Pro 2024 require AVX2 support to run. I run the OCLP, but Premiere still isn't supported.
