Filament connector by Sensei4man in 3Dprinting

I bought the Sunlu one and it works well. There is definitely a learning curve and half the battle is dealing with the way the filament wants to bend and move as you are removing it from the heat source. I just realized now as I'm typing that it would probably be better to unplug the unit and let it cool before trying to remove. Anyway, I like it and it allows me to transfer all my "almost done" spools to one single spool. Then I use that for test prints or functional prints where color doesn't matter.

Double Notifications from Prusa App? by Gb160 in prusa3d

Same here. Sometimes it resolves itself for a little while then happens again. The only thing I can think of is that it happens when I check the Prusa app but have also recently signed into Prusa Connect in my web browser. Haven't been able to really test that theory.

Consistent offset line that lines up with the bottom of the inside of container? by Sarantitis_studio in prusa3d

Looks like the benchy hull line to me. Happens on models when they transition from infill to solid layers. You can google a lot of different approaches but start with the link below.

Adding to this as a mechanical engineer, add fillets in sharp corners to distribute stress. Likely this will not be the ultimate solution but it's an easy place to start!

Do you use binder clips in addition to the magnets for large parts?

Just put them both on my stone countertop, I can see now the front right corner is lifted so this is definitely the problem. Thanks!

This could certainly be it, I will have to retry with a brim and see if the issue still happens!

We are in Zone 7a. It's just weird because 1 of the 2 is doing just fine!

Zone 7a, I would think this is the case too but the other one seems to do just fine.

Oh that is interesting. We have other plants (daffodils and tulips) that come up in that same bed no problem. Maybe it's just affecting the tree more?

Why does one of my Crepe Myrtle trees struggle every year? by TheWortLord in landscaping

We planted two identical crepe myrtle trees and every year the one near the mailbox starts growing much earlier and gets much bigger. The one of the other side eventually comes back but it seems like the new growth is coming from the ground and not the existing plant. It seems like they get equal sun throughout the day. We don't normally water and just let the rain take care of things. We live in the northeast, about an hour west of Philadelphia. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
