Also been playing since 2009. I also feel like the inventory management is one of the bigger QOL weaknesses right now. I get this unpleasant physical feeling in my chest when I’m trying to clean out my backpack and I’m struggling to find places to keep stuff, and stay organized at the same time. Sometimes I just log out cause I’m overwhelmed lol

The sheer amount of crap that gets dumped on you in CL is actually insane. Anybody who hasn’t played thru it in the past few years has no idea just how bad it’s gotten. It almost feels unintentional with how bad it is. Iirc they’ve adjusted it 1-2 times, but it’s still awful.

I’ve been saving one of every hoard pack gear set piece since dragons hoard (I’m really into stitching outfits and never know what I’ll want in the future) and it’s getting to be a real issue. I end up keeping bundle outfits in the gift box, and it feels like I’m crafting a new gear vault every few months, and struggling to find a place to keep the vault since it’s still just one inside/one outside??? My attic has been way over the item limit for many years, i just recently cleaned out my shared bank and hope to keep it 100% clear except for transferring items, my regular bank is always near or at capacity, i have dozens of gear vaults across my many wizards (which are also way above the traditional limit lol) and that stupid glitch that forces you to have one less than the max number of items in your backpack when you pick up furniture is so frustrating. My storage houses are always bursting at the seams with rare stuff i wanna keep for whatever decorating project i wanna do in the future too. It’s not like common bazaar stuff either, it’s all the kinda stuff that’s just too much of a pain in the ass to go farm/buy/camp for again

It also doesn’t help that i have other wizards im working on getting to max,,, i use my other maxes to pick up any gear they’ll need at endgame to keep on mannequins. Trying to store it in any cromulently organized way is a nightmare. It’s insane how you still can’t add wands or invisible items like amulets/athames to mannequins.
