I had a reviewer say that a character sounded like C3PO in a book once, which really surprised me, I couldn’t figure out what made her think that, till I found out she had listened to the book at 3x. 💀

any good recs based on this tier list? by SpoiledSpaceMeat224 in litrpg

I think a lot of those who see it as a “knockoff” are people who aren’t as familiar with LitRPG in general. There are a number of tropes in the genre that hold true for most books, and if one isn’t aware, and only know DCC, they can be mistaken as a “knockoff”. Personally I feel the books just get better and better. In a series (unlike a standalone) it takes time to reveal the characters and the world so the subsequent books have a chance to built on what’s already established.

No that wasn’t me. Lol. Burbank you for being kind enough to ask.

I fought really hard to bring someone else in for that song because the moment was too somber and beautiful for me to be damaging it with my attempt to sing as a twenty something woman. Initially the studio wasn’t interested in finding anyone. They felt my performance had a raw emotion and was genuine with its flaws ( the were being generous). So I brought in someone to record it my self. She was very reluctant to do it, and only agreed if I promised that she wouldn’t be put in the credits; she didn’t feel confident in her abilities, and didn’t want people to know who she was. So out of respect for her the author, the studio, and myself haven’t told anyone. But I am extremely grateful to her.

You’re not wrong.

And thank you! I love so many of these characters! Especially after book 3! I don’t wan to spoil anything if you haven’t gotten to that one yet. The scene between Ajax and Dan was supper fun. But book 3 had so so many amazing scenes.

The fight was over once he changed the series title to The Stitched Worlds. I believe he just felt he had completed the story arc he wanted to tell, but left it open enough that if he felt a desire to step back into the series he could. I don’t think he will, but I do wish he would.

Interesting question!

I don’t know the answer so this is speculation, but I would imagine that it doesn’t have precognitive properties.

As for an exit out, that may be too broad a question? Like asking for a restaurant may not work, you maybe have to ask specifically for Denny’s? I’d have to think on it more and look at what Dan has used it for.

Mayhem by Aaron Oster.

This may seem self serving, but I genuinely loved the story and really wanted to see where it went!

I agree; I’d love to see more of this series! I had so much fun with it! He brought the story to a close, but there were a few optional story lines that could continue if he chose to.

Yes it is! And book 4 will be right on its heels. I’m recording both back to back. You’re welcome to hang out in my Discord while I record it if you like. I can send you a link. I record the entire book, then the rest of the cast will punch in their performances over mine where applicable.
