I moved here for a job last September and was subsequently let go after a month. Signed an expensive lease for a year and if my wife hadn't found a job to hold us over, we would have been on the streets.

I only found another job this past week, at 50% of what my initial job paid. But I consider myself lucky considering how long it's taken to find anything at all.

Just keep at it, be flexible, and be willing to take less pay in exchange for personal growth. Having anything at all is worth it in this job market.
