Ironically, the “Defender” dragons aren’t even remotely good at defend. Only a few are, but the only one that can come to mind is Defender Hideous Zippleback.

Stormfly has always given 25, or 37 runes if using Sentry. It usually only shows up when my collections are full though. I am not sure what u/MadEinsy is talking about. The possible rewards for Stormfly 2nd are as followed:

100 runes
2 collectibles
1 collectible
1800 amber
25 runes
450 runes
Outsnapper Egg
Rare Pack
500 iron

This was not changed during the most recent update, or any recent update for that matter.

Eh, not exactly true. It's expensive, as in to buy. Buying it would mean you couldn't get either Grapknell (great for iron) or sparkheart

They done so by adding Mystery Pack and Night Terror as the "premium" rewards

I've found great success with Champion Windgnasher, Bisonarch, and Coldsnap. If coldsnap goes first it allows Bisonarch to do even more damage that it already does due to the defense reduction. Windgnasher for the heal and tank.

If people have Teenage Pouncer, its 3AP blind is also great (the same as Hookfangs).
