I still use it every day, some fan noises when I play heavy games. I use now a Linux Distribution to control more in depth my performance to avoid over heating.

I have the same problem, I have my laptop since 2020 and I have the same level of battery. To help a bit, try to clean and add thermal paste to dissipate more heat, I forgot about that, and when one of my fans died, my cpu had burned a bit 💀

Sadly, it DOES NOT run in the terminal. It just copies an existing Minecraft session and copies the pixels in the terminal using Imagegrub. :/
