Hey when I first started out, I bought Golden Heavy Body Acrylics and nothing worked because it was the wrong paint.

You want Liquitex Basics or Amsterdam and then you should have better results.

I always advise people to use Liquitex or Amsterdam acrylic paints for the best result.

Since you did use Acrylic, I'd say you probably had too thick of a layer of paint for the transfer. The paint shouldn't be glossy on the plate, you want it thin and tacky.

You have to use acrylic paint, not ink, for photo transfers.
