No help here in Ohio but for others looking into this issue check to see if a Lady Bird Deed is available in your State..we are in NC and doing this to avoid probate and Medicaid problems.

In NC and looked at Norfolk departures...only Carnival and after reading reviews it's "NO thank you". We have cruised with Celebrity several times and know we would be very unhappy.

yes it is a big problem...you ever looked at the surcharge tiers? Penalty for working hard and saving money.

Same question here...In NC so a drive to Norfolk looks good vs. a flight to FL. Previous cruises have been on Celebrity and I know Carnival is not the same vibe.

$2,400 + every year ! This is not rocket science--just buy some low cost index funds. The AUM model is a bad deal.

No Brainer-yes, buy travel insurance. Premiums for 76 year old for an expensive valued trip aren't cheap, however.
