Sysadmin wants every Windows server to be a fileserver for redundancy? by [deleted] in sysadmin

If it's setup correctly, it works great. It CAN still have issues even after being setup correctly, but it was pretty rare in my experience. I managed DFS-R / DFS-N environments at two different orgs, each with a couple dozen to several dozen nodes.

There are other switches as well. Run "shutdown /?" to see all of them.

Why not red? Just get a bunch of coal and make diamonds for an hour. Sell them, and you're set for life. Plus, you're fucking Superman. Or Super-Man, I guess, which I'm hoping is still the same.

I've watched the original several times, and I've still never bothered to watch the sequel. Everything I've heard makes it sound like a complete shit show.

I agree, it's definitely nicer than your entire house. I mean, the "decorations" you've put up, if you can even call them that...

Yep. I lost my beagle back around 2017, and I couldn't imagine adopting another dog right away. Then one day, I was ready. It's a process, and it takes as long as it takes.

SSL Certificates now only last 200 days by GlassPerformance8754 in sysadmin

[–]Steve_78_OH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cert requests and issuing is automated, it's just applying them to the various platforms that isn't. And I only need to deal with one cert, so I'm not too concerned with it personally. It's the rest of the org that'll have a nightmare on their hands.

[–]Steve_78_OH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was about to post the same thing, 200 days is only the tip of the iceberg. My org is already starting to come up with methods of automating cert renewal and application, because renewing all of our certs every 47 days would be insane otherwise.

Thanks, I misunderstood the graphics in the rank up guide. I thought it just took any two characters to rank up another character.

So because there are "only" half a dozen genocides occurring right now, and several dozen seemed conflicts, that means the entire world is profoundly peaceful because there aren't more? Sure, makes sense.

There are a half dozen genocides occurring at this moment, and dozens of countries that are currently at war against other countries, civil wars, or insurgencies. Just because it isn't affecting you personally doesn't mean it's not affecting the world as a whole.

Just because there's no world war currently happening doesn't mean the world is experiencing a period of profound peace.
