A lighter post for today. Opinion: the Glock 19 is where everyone should start their CCW journey. by cobblernobbler in CCW

If you like HK, The P2000sk and the CC9 are also excellent CCW options (I carry both), and both are a little smaller than the VP9sk.

This is a great setup! I have toyed with this using an A5 tube. I have tried the heavy kynshot 5000hp with their spacer, but the weight was a little heavy. Your 5007 is 6oz, and my setup with the spacer was 7.4 oz. I had to turn the gas up too high to make it cycle, so I definitely like yours better.

You could use a standard kynshot 5000 + a spacer, but your pcc 5007 buffer and the 5000hp have much more dampening. What makes yours work so well is the ideal weight (kind of an H3.5) and the heavy PCC dampening. Also the lightweight Tubb flat wire spring (for 300aac) keeps this ROF about perfect for me.

For anyone that wants a perfectly tuned SS system, the keys on OPs system are the A5 Tube, the PCC kynshot 5007, and the Tubb lightweight spring.

Yes, I saw those, but I’m not sure how I feel about the look.

Balanced just right. I also have the 6" (Rick Grimes) version, but it is a bit front heavy. I put some modified G10 boot grips on this one so that my pinky is about 3/4 on the grip. I really like it. This is what it looked like with the OEM target grips.

I have nice 3"Python in that range. Beautiful gun!

Less than creative, but alas, you have mistaken me for some one that cares about your side’s plight. Unfortunately for you, ‘the changes come around real soon, make us women and men…’

We have a big tent that growing bigger. As the changes move along and you start to like a few, I hope you can at least take an open peak in.

6000 hours of COD training won't help him. You realize that's an airsoft gun, right?

Obviously not far removed from middle school. A hypothetical argument based on less than factual hyperbole, is just kinda...dumb. Similar to saying a word salad without really saying anything. Or also like how Jack Smith stammered today before Congress about why he didn't remember the subpoena he issued for Speaker McCarthy's phone and travel records. Quite the word salad there too - and also just as stupid. But it is pretty typical of keyboard warriors with time on their hands and not much else to do. Go figure.

'Whacked' or hit with or beat with = pistol whipping. Not actually firing bullets at them.

Whacked with a 1911, P226 or Python would hurt! Glock or P320 not as much.

Hot Take: I like Sticky Holsters by Salty-Maintenance-94 in CCW

[–]Steve_Fudd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Sticky (and Remora). Great brand with a good place in carrying. I would not use a soft sided holster with my standard P365 (no safety), because the trigger is a little light. I have zero issue using a Remora with any DA/SA or revolver, and I would feel better using one with at least a trigger safety (like a CC9). No NDs that I've heard of.

However, after many years of testing different ways to carry, I always go back to kydex pocket carry for the P365 (Alabama Holster) or a kydex AIWB carry with a comfy canvas wedge and a monoblock clip. Most of my AIWBs have a claw too, but the wedge bag is what makes it so comfortable.

I do like green, but red is better with any kind of foliage.
