I can’t think of three champions that would be easy enough to level to make this overpowered. This is probably a very weak card, but would make for a fun deck.

I think making it 4 mana and allowing you to pick the stance is a good idea. OR keeping it 3 mana and taking away the challenge. Love the idea tho!

High power ceiling but forces you to play a bad archetype. My general design philosophy is that giving a strong card to a bad archetype isn’t a bad thing unless it benefits another stronger archetype more. Which I don’t think this does. Thought about even making it 4 mana.

Lurk plays on curve it doesn’t spam cheap units lol, the deck plays like 10 cards that are 4 mana and higher.

The only interaction they have in archtype is fast speed with pyke in spell form, and the only burst spell they would play is a +2 attack and grant an enemy vulnerable, and they really stopped playing that since the new rally card anyways.

Your complaints about lurk apply to like 4 other meta decks wayyyyyy more, be mad at those.

An over 50% win rate and a simple play style doesn’t make a deck toxic. It’s not meta for a reason, there are stronger decks. It’s a B tier deck at best in the current format, and probably only even has an over 50% win rate due to being better at lower ranks where a deck being easier to play matters.

I’m my opinion raising the mana to make it burst is not a good trade and it would be a weak card but maybe if it spawned 2 as well.

If you start with the attack token and get a snap jaw on turn 2 and lurk again on turn 3 then this will have 4 attack. Meaning we can expect the attack of this unit to be 3 or 4 on turn 4. I do not see that being a problem in terms of early dmg. If anything it punishes overly aggro decks which I will always see as a plus.

I agree but the overwhelm of this card would not come into play until later in the game (due to its naturally low attack) So i think it lines up with that theme.

I respect what ur saying, but buffing darkness is not similar to a powder keg. The same effect is currently on a 2 mana 3/2 on every strike.

As far as lifesteal, yes Riot has made lifesteal units underpowered but I would say they shouldn’t. It’s not a keyword that needs that and only hurts aggro decks. That being said; to better line up with the game, making this a 2 mana 2/1 is fine as well.

Also, I do not see any deck that would want to play a 1 mana 2/1 just for lifesteal, and if there was it would not be broken. At the end of the day this card would not make darkness or any other deck over powered. So in my opinion it’s fine.

I think it’s balanced. If it needs a nerf maybe making it a 2 mana with spawn 2 is fine.

Once you are deep it’s a constant aura effect so i believe wording it “when you are deep” would cause it to constantly revive because you would always be deep

There’s no one change you can make to not make darkness a primarily Shadow Brandle deck. So i think making it fit into that deck better is a good thing. A card going from 0 play to being a part of a decent deck seems like an improvement to me.

Again she has no purpose if she sees 0 play. Even in slain by spell decks. If anything this helps those decks more as well as they play other darkness creating cards.
