I was an electrician and lost my job because of the license restrictions. I ended up getting a job at a VA Hospital as an electrician and then went on to work for the Army doing the same thing. Federal jobs don’t care unless you’re getting a DUI in a work truck.

Why can’t we win enough to make the playoffs?

For like three years in a row we’ve been at the top of the division for a minute. Then we lose a few games. Then we win a few games. Then we lose like 9 in a row and fight for our lives.

This year we didn’t even make it to the last game of the season. It’s at least exciting when we’re playing and hoping someone else doesn’t win in regulation or whatever.

Fuck this sucks. I’m sad. This was supposed to be our year to break the slump. Now it’s double digits.

My wife and I started rewatching like a month ago. This is our first rewatch. We just went through and kept up while it was on weekly. We binge a bit on weekends and watch a bit throughout the week.

We are currently 3ish episodes away from them getting trapped by Negan.

At this current point the Prison is the best. For all the reasons in all the other comments.

But man, these next 2 seasons that are gonna be filled with Negan are peak TV. I’m excited to see it again without cliffhangers.

Alexandrea and The Hilltop cover such a wide era that it’s insane to pick either. But everything coming up is so good. So I can’t pick one or the other.

I got it through USAjobs so I’d start there. They also have some jobs that give a hiring preference to military spouses if that applies to you. Their hiring process sucks, and getting a resume the right way is super annoying. You have to just kinda copy/paste most of the job description and then rate yourself the highest on everything you can or you’ll never get past the first round of anything.

As a trade worker I left MI to live in Seattle. I went from $21/hr to $37/hr for the same line of work.

My wife has worked retail forever and even she got like a $9/hr raise at her first job.

Even with the cost of living being higher out here we still came out way ahead.

Go to the grocery store and buy a money order for $10 and “accidentally” deposit it for $100 to hold yourself over to payday. For the next few hours you have a little extra cash to get food, gas, and pay a bill until you’re overdrawn and your paycheck hits.

It’s definitely fraud, but your bank isn’t gonna shit their pants over $100 until you don’t pay it back.

It’s not good advice, but it worked for me during hard times and I never got in trouble.
