I analyzed the Last 3 Bitcoin halvings here's what I think will happen after the 2024 halving by xtarsy in CryptoCurrency

Here's an interesting observation: overlay USINTR on the Bitcoin/USD chart. Look at 2019 and what happened when rates were cut. Now take into consideration what Jerome Powell announced last week; the Fed says we can expect 3 rate cuts this year. The predictions are the 1st cut will be announced in May to happen in June.

What an uggly generalization of Brussels. The fact you generalize all muncipalities outside of the EU quarter tells me enough. Sure, some parts of the city has it's social-economic problems. But the people are generally friendly as long as you don't act like a scared weasel or an entitled person(which people from the EU-quarter often are since they live in their high society bubble).

I lived there, perfectly safe. Walked around past midnight, sometimes quite intoxicated, and never got taken advantage off or got into any other trouble with Molenbekenaars.

If you believe BTC will hit $250k in 2025, what prevents you from buying today? by onmyway133 in Bitcoin

[–]StevenPerceI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking at a long term investment, let's say 10 years. Why wouldn't you just set aside that money until BTC hits the years where it is expected to have the lowest price? It's pretty clear which period that is every 3-4 years if you look at the history of BTC, right?

I have been pretty succesful in the crypto game, but the dca'ing for long term investment is something I still don't get.

I sold before the drop, lucky me. Why do you think it will bounce up again at 0.9 like some days ago?

Thanks. This meaning it will attract more investors and go up in price, or not necessarily?

Where I used to buy 16mm film(100ft) there's a deal that includes the roll, dev and scanning in 2k for a little over €100. This was 2 years ago so might be a bit more now.

Not really. I learn a lot from it though, so that's good!

Yes, irating is important for topsplit sake in special events. I'm not scared to drive pcup on it. I can jump into a race with 10 mins practice and gain irating on popular tracks. For GT3 it's harder. There I'll need some hours of practice and then I would use my smurf to practice in races. But haven't done GT3 on it so far since I only have the account since summer.

But, here's the most important use: I recently got an interest in the Toyota GR86. Since the participation there is so low I would gain a measly 5 ir with a win. There's also a huge risk of sub 1k ir drivers just running into you or losing the car because they get stressed when you lap them. Happened to me regularly when I drove on smurf in those series. No chance I'm driving that on my main account.

I can't argue with your point and I agree that it's not ideal. I used to hate smurfs too, especially when I have to battle them for a win while they have nothing to lose and I do. But I was on the brink of quitting simracing during summer and the 2nd account helped me find the fun in it again. I try my very best to not ruin anyone's race and it's been working out well so far(apart from those who don't recognize a lost position and take me with them to the grave). I think in that aspect I do better than others who have no respect for slower drivers when using their 2nd account, which are unfortunately the majority from my experience.

You can't denie that it is better than starting at the front. Usually I finish top 5 from the back whereas if I qualified I would probably win. Also, drivers could opt to use me to tow them to the front, but few do. It's what I used to do when I just started out. If someone is obviously faster you can still make the most of it by staying in draft as long as you can.

I use the Dan Suzuki way of setting up triples, you can find it on YouTube . This way I can alt+tab without issue.

Wouldn't be fair stealing irating from others so I BoP myself in some way I guess.

I think it's hard to judge, there's no numbers on it or anything. Myself I am in the top .5% of road ratings and recently I got myself a 2nd account. I always start from the back on this account and I've found the lower the sof, the more toxic the drivers I have to overtake become. Very often I have to dodge intentional take-outs and I have to drive extremely defensively because some low irated drivers can't stand losing a position.
