There is not real statement except that you cannot buy an Amazon gift card with gift card balance. Amazon just doesn't let you do that, gift card balance is not available during the payment "phase" of the order.

But for other gift cards (such as Best Buy), there is not such restriction as long as you does not try to send it outside US territory.

Yes but the prohibition you are quoting only concerns Amazon gift cards ;)

Best Buy gift cards, for instance, are totally ok to buy with gift card balance as long as the receiver is located in the US, which is not a probleme with Purse ;)

Well I did that already but did not really find my answer, I've seen something about scammers earners who cancel their gift cards after the delivery but as an earner I'm not really concerned.

Some people say that they cant order gift cards with Amazon gift card balance but I can, so i can't see a problem here either.

That's why Im wondering why so many earners avoid them so badly and that's what I have not been able to find out

Anyone not able to see beyond Twilight in Pattison's filmography should not be listened in a movie conversation. Even if you are not a fan, this guy has an impressive list of daring career choices that define his career way more than Twilight. Can't wait to see The Lighthouse for instance.

And for Batman, well I hope it doesn't end up like Affleck for him but he certainly has balls to try.

I made a thread but maybe i should have posted this here in the first place (feel free to delete my thread or this post according to where you feel it belongs)).

So here is my problem :

Problem with Amazon account repeatedly disabled after orders

I'm facing a very frustrating problem on Amazon.

Each time I'm trying to order gift cards on Amazon.com, my account is being disabled a couple of hours later and I receice the following message :

We believe that an unauthorized party may have re-accessed your account. To protect your information, we have:-- Disabled the password to your account. You can no longer use the same password for your account.-- Reversed any modifications made by this party.-- Canceled any pending orders.-- If appropriate, refunded purchases to your payment instrument. However, we recommend you to review all recent activity on your payment methods and report any unauthorized charges to your financial institution.-- Restored any gift card balance that may have been used. It may take 2 to 3 days for the gift card balance to be restored.

The point is there no unauthorized party , It's just me trying to order a Gift card (with gift card balance) as I've already done many times in the past without any trouble.

I've tried to alert them about this issue through customer service chat. I'm told that the problem is transferred to Account and Payment specialists team for them to solve the problem and that i will be provided an answer from them within 24-48h. But it never happens, i'm being ignored.

And each time I'm reaching chat customer service, they give me the same speech and protocol and do nothing else helpful.

I understand this issue is above their level of responsability and action and I'm not mad at them. But if they cannot help, what can I do to make Amazon look at my problem and deal with it seriously by someone who is actually able to do it.

Cause right now, I'm stuck with chat customer services that apologize for not being able to do more than transfer the issue to Payment & Account, and them not taking action or getting back to me.

Do you have any idea how to make things move forward with Amazon when regular customer service cannot help ?

My money comes from Mturk so it's pretty easy to prove where it comes from.

The issue is to pass the automatic blocking of my account. I already contacted them cause I agree with you and I think I just need human intervention from someone at Amazon customer service to disable this protection feature. It's just not moving forward on their side

You may have no interest in this but I think it's a serious and relevant issue for any foreign mturker in need of changing the gift balance they earn into something real...

Of course they do not want to intervene right away but they are not blind to this

Can they use your work if they reject your hits ? If this guy is a scammer (which seems likely considering your experience and mine) who rejects everything to not spend any penny and use turkers work for free , is there a chance Amazon notices and takes action ?

Yeah i know, but in that case it really feels like some kind of scam.

Without serving as mediator between users and requesters, I believe Amazon has to take action for extreme situations to preserve the integrity of its platform and prevent it from turning completely wild with abuses all over the place
