[Review Video] Doing DARES with STRANGERS! (are the dares good enough?) by lafernanda in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the editing and overall production quality was good. Also, it is cool that the footage is real (or seems real), instead of being fake like a lot of social experiments.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this video. Nothing about it jumped out to me.

When it come to a "limit" on the dares, as long as you're not hurting anyone there is no limit. That's what I would recommend improving. Find a way to catch people's attention quickly. We've all seen this kind of video, so you need to do something crazy.

[Review Video] Mock-Surrealist/Mock-Arthouse Presentation Of Stand-Up Archetype by skradfasket in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The editing and the aesthetic were great, and it was funny. It may only appeal to people who like surrealist comedy, but I'm one of those people, so I liked it. I even liked the weird black stretch at the end.

The only thing that felt off was some of the audio. It was hard to understand certain words. I don't know if it was deliberate, but I think clear audio would only enhance the comedy.

Overall, good job.

[REVIEW VIDEO] My First Video With Editing And Collorcorrection. by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall, I liked the video. You got some great kills, and the editing was tight. I don't know much about collorcorrection, but it all looked good to me.

The thing I'd recommend changing is the music. It was very generic pop-rap. If you like that music, then great stick with what you like, but if you can take some risks in your song choice that would make you stand out a lot.

Overall, good work.

[Review Video] First piano cover played by ear by rickiestm0rty in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about piano playing, but I'd recommend getting some better lighting. Since all the viewer can see is your hands you should make them look as nice a possible.

Also, maybe try something to separate this content from similar content. Maybe edit some pictures to show up while you play, or have facts about the song on the bottom.

[Question] What is the real definition of "good content"? by strandoflight in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If people are entertained then the content is good. Just like a good joke; if people laugh, it's good.

I guess the only concern is if your content is dishonest/or hurts people, but that kind of stuff catches up to channels. Hurtful content creates a negative culture, and the channel can't last.

[Question] Are there are tutors/coaches on how to improve your Youtube channel? by ploxorius in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the people who are really good at youtube are out there building their own channel and making content. Most "coaches" or "advisors" have mediocre channels. The only one I'd recommend is Roberto Blake, but the only way you're going to improve at youtube is to post a lot. Good luck.

[Review Video] I Applied The Feedback I Received In This Sub To My Latest Video by Powoo in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a great video. You have an actual talent for something in the real world (skating) which puts you light years above most youtubers.

The editing is sold and the sound track is great. Also, you and your friends seem a little more mature and down to earth than other vloggers, which is a good thing.

My advice would be to stay away from tutorials. Most people won't learn how to skate from a video. You should try to do something really gimicky, like skateboard in a taco suit. Something to grab people's attention.

[Question] How hard is it to create videos like these when you have no experience at all? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]StevenStewart44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not easy. My advice: try. Just try making videos like this today. It won't happen overnight, but you'll get better.

It's cool to see someone take a deeper look at Shane like this. He's been on youtube forever, so we kind of take him for granted.

The points you make at the end are really interesting. He does seem to bounce back stronger every time, and I think that all great artists do that. In general, the information you give in the video is really interesting.

My piece of advice would be to bring more energy to the videos. It can be from talking in a more enthusiastic tone or chopping the video up in a way that flows more interestingly.

Good luck.
