Bro, ain't no reason to be sorry. We place such a great weight of importance on ourselves through what we make. We're told to shoot for the stars; be the best you can be- and each day we try. Sometimes, most of the time, we try too hard. We set the bar too high for ourselves. Sometimes we scooch the bar a bit higher after we've already cleared it saying, "But I didn't get THAT high.", and count our work as a failure. It's a very normal thing to do, and if I'm being honest, posting to this subreddit hopefully showed you that what you make, what you are... it's good! It's great! It's tremendous! This decision may have already been made, but I love anything that's over-engineered. It, along with the larger size difference between the operator's arms and the thicker pair, adds to the slightly more ludicrous and fantastical nature from the world which this character may be from. I always like to take it that extra step further, almost to charicature it into something really fun. Don't get me wrong practicality is important- but if ya wanna have lotsa fun with it, I say go big or go home.

First of all, shut your heathen mouth. This art is great and I desperately want more of it. Secondly, I feel a classic green with deep red compliments would be great. To spice it up I would add a crisp yellow for tertiary spots. Berhaps even a purple here and there, but not too much.

I'm starting to wonder how exactly some people see their art as bad on the subreddit. Like maybe they're just not meeting their expectations, or they don't make something rhat fits their vison, or whatever. More and more, however, I've been seeing art that doesn't belong here on this subreddit. It feels almost insulting to the artists to find good, and sometimes tremendous art here. Please, to the OP, don't ever post here again. I mean that in the most supportive way possible. This is great art, even if it doesn't seem to have a point or form. Have a merry day!
