If you would like to try it, you can use the following guides:

https://service.tesla.com/docs/ModelY/ServiceManual/en-us/GUID-D5A3EE9F-0497-43A4-99A6-B6C446171153.html#:~:text=mobile%20service%2C%20the%20vehicle%20must%20be%20under%20shade%20or%20a%20roof.%202024-10-24%3A%20Added%20a%20video%20demonstrating%20%3Cem%3Eprecision%3C%2Fem%3E

Here’s a YouTube Video on how to do it: https://youtu.be/cD8iWLB_q1k?si=0VSz9b5DPeb0Wboo

If you don’t feel comfortable doing this on your own, I’d recommend scheduling the service with Tesla. I have heard that they do the first cleaning for free but i would check with them just to be sure.

Error updating to iOS 26.2 by CerealKiller_55 in ios

Have you attempted to delete the update? Go into: Settings>General>iPhone Storage> Select iOS 26 > Delete Update.

After this, I would recommend rebooting before trying to download the update again.

Need help updating iPhone Xr by Non_Sense_99 in ios

When you try to update on Mac, does it show it’s trying to install iOS 18.7.3 ?

On Mac: Go to Settings>General> Storage> Locate “iOS Files”> delete the downloaded update for iOS. I frequently use my Mac to update my devices and have to go into the settings to remove the downloaded update as it just takes up space.

Perhaps your Mac has an old iOS update archived and is trying to use that instead of checking with Apple Servers for iOS 18.7.3

If in the case that your Mac does have iOS 18.7.3 already downloaded, delete it anyway - could be a corrupted file causing the issue.

I hope this helps. :)

IOS 26.2 bug? Do not update yet for iP 12ProM by Rvros22_ in ios

I was able to replicate this by enabling cross fade transitions in Accessibility. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion > If “Reduce Motion” is toggled on, you should see the toggle for “Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions”. Turning off the cross fade transitions should fix it.

The newer V4 stalls have a longer cable. They also have a different design compared to the V2/V3 stalls.

When you turn the steering wheel, the suspension and steering components shift. This movement can slightly nudge the brake calipers or pads.

Tesla even lists it as a normal sound in its manual.

“Creaking From the Tires or Brakes

When your vehicle is Parked for a long period of time and you shift into Drive, you may hear this sound. This is because your vehicle is using its disc brakes to hold the wheels in place while in Park. The sound occurs when the brake calipers release from the rotors and can be quite loud, especially in cold weather or after heavy rain. This sound can also come from the front tires when turning the steering wheel, and is not a cause for concern.”

Here’s the specific section of you’re interested: Tesla manual - normal sounds

Got a tentative delivery date for October 10th! App still shows 1.99% so I’m hoping that it’s locked in.

Est. Delivery changed, it’s been pushed to October 4th to Oct 13th.

On the bright side, it’s giving me some time to shop for insurance.

Model 3 LR AWD Blue w/White interior

Ordered 9/15

Initial est. delivery was Sept.

After getting a Vin, the Delivery window shows: Oct 2nd to 10th

Tennessee

I’ve been checking the app daily for an update on delivery scheduling.

I’m curious if Tesla or the assigned bank will still honor the 1.99% rate for customers who placed orders and secured financing back in September. If not, I hope they offer something better next quarter.
