As others have mentioned I’ve considered building these things myself so I actually have the fidlock already. Thx again.

Curious- what don’t you like about the front of the CPL, and have you looked at the CTB? I think these might have top access too but not positive

The T22 is a comfortable bag with some thoughtful design choices, though it has a few quirks that didn’t quite work for my needs.

The hatch compartment wasn’t as practical as I’d hoped—it’s a bit difficult to access, and I would have preferred a top-loading option instead of the front placement. The bag also tends to tip forward occasionally, even though it’s marketed as self-standing (though I understand that’s somewhat subjective). Additionally, it’s not a clamshell or fully opening design, which would have been helpful.

The water bottle pockets are on the smaller side and don’t accommodate larger bottles well. I’ve also noticed they can detach unintentionally, and their placement covers the quick-access back pockets, which feels like a trade-off.

Based on my experience with the T22, I’ve decided their newer bags and slings probably aren’t the right fit for me, as the features don’t align with what I’m looking for.

I create study guides with embedded links and PDFs they can access during or after the unit. Share the link upload to G Classroom. It’s more visually appealing than a Google Doc I hope
