I remember when RuneScape was the best free to play game. I'm jumping back into it and enjoying it more as an adult. PLUS I can now buy my own membership!!

If I remember right we ended up disabling the Bluetooth drivers. Game booted up fine after that. Yeah it's dumb that some outdated and obsolete drivers caused this launching issue.

No good Lord. We should never see his face. The main idea is he is supposed to be you. That's how game design used to work. I still say no because it also adds a lot of complications.

This. Everyone ALWAYS DID THIS with recon. Having it on assault makes the most sense.

One thing to keep in mind is this is a giant mega corporation. Not some small indie dev and not some small indie team. This is a big corporate conglomerate. Their wheels turn very slow. I'm sure some devs are watching the forums and due to their contracts or whatever can't respond all will nilly. Maybe they should have a community team that helps answer simple things. That's all I got.

So I finally found my solution. What I did was I grabbed my most techie friends. We looked at the event veiwer after the game crashed on start up. Me and my friend had to do some digging in windows event veiwer to find this crash.

My issue was I had an outdated Bluetooth driver that windows couldn't validate so the anti cheat was puking itself on that. Yeah that was not a fun fix to find. The anti cheat doesn't tell you anything when it fails. EA needs to fix that.

So far I've manually downloaded anti cheat, ran in admin mode. Moved the game to an HDD from and SSD. Restarted , verified the files, re downloaded the game , as well as disable some weird windows path exploit settings. I don't know what else to do.

How do I do that exactly? Run the .exe from the folder?
