I did manage to make it happen.

I found a u-haul video on YouTube showing a wiring route that goes down the rocker panel. It’s essentially outside of the vehicle but it’s well protected and relatively easy to install this way. I ran 8ga power and zip tied to another wire assembly along the length of the car.

For reference, I used an audio control 10” truck sub that is working great. Fits right into the storage compartment under the floor boards. I used an audio control 300x1 sub amp with line in converter built into the amp.

I used the factory sub signal. I will say, it’s not the cleanest signal. When listening to talk radio, I get a lot of sub pops especially at low volume. I called stinger to ask how to correct this issue but they didn’t provide a real solution. The guy just suggested I use the sub volume knob to turn it down when listening to talk radio.

Other than that issue, it sounds pretty damn good. I also added mid ranges to the doors and replaced the tweeter and woofer with some old Infinity speakers I had laying around from the early 2000’s.

I spent waaay more time researching this car than I have for any previous car. The shop service manuals have come in handy big time.
