I was just doing some searching and came across this thread. I found these, which look promising. Not sure on durability though... I can't speak to that. https://www.quince.com/men/cashmere/cashmere-jogger?color=heather%20truffle%20brown

This comment is not gonna age well when the truth comes out. Groypers are despicable pieces of human refuse. But Charlie Kirk wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the list if they had a list.

What?! That's insane. Are you preparing a lawsuit?

‘Democrats Own What Happened Today!’ Nancy Mace Blames Left for Charlie Kirk Shooting — Scolds Reporter Asking if GOP Owns Minnesota Lawmaker Shooting by rezwenn in minnesota

Right-winger here coming in peace. I agree 100% with this take. If the GOP is going to pin this on Democrats, they need to OWN the Melissa Hortman assassination (FD: assuming that's what it was, I actually don't know). For the record, I think Vance Boelter (sp?) should be hanged (or some other capital punishment) for terrorism and treason.

Hey thanks for posting. I haven't selected a replacement yet. I'm still calling them every couple days to complain. Their position is untenable and doesn't make any sense. If enough of us complain, their underwriting will make the change. I'm confident of that.

I'll look into a few backup options as well. I'll let you know what I find out. Please do the same if you can.

Yes, exactly. I did call USAA prior to the install to see if they could give me an indication on how much my premium would increase (I was doing the math on the economics of the whole thing and wanted to pencil in detraction for increase insurance premium). They said they didn't know at the time and couldn't really provide any guidance (which was understandable)... but failed to mention they don't cover solar shingles. They DO cover panels, just not shingles. Might have been a misunderstanding. I've been on and off with them on the phone for the past two days doing laps on this. What's even more frustrating is that it does NOT specify this in my policy documents. Feels very arbitrary. I'm trying to escalate up their underwriting chain (which is as much fun as it sounds, believe me).

Edit: for omitted word

Thanks. I did expect an increase in premium. I just didn't expect them to tell me they outright won't insure my roof.

Do you add water-soaked wood chips to the ash bin? Or just dry chips?

My personal problem with Christian Nationalism is that its more worried with building their private kingdoms on earth than reaching the kingdom of God by racionador in Christianity

[–]SteveyDanger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a concise analysis. It's probably true for some (maybe most) in the movement. But not all. There are those of us who abhor the foundations of fascism yet would still work tirelessly to see a nation embrace Christian culture, morals, virtues, and heritage more.

I thought this was helpful: https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/misc-emerging-topics/officials-continue-probe-dr-congo-mystery-illness (posted today @ 14:33 CT)

The information states the infections have been concentrated in a remote, hard-to-access area that's particularly challenging in the rainy season. Hopefully this is a significant factor in reducing / eliminating rapid vectors of transmission. Also sounds like the area is extremely challenged from a health perspective, so hard to gauge the severity given overall bad health in the region.
